“The coastal veggie sandwiches and vegan salads in the grab-and-go deli are THE BEST! They make their own vegan ranch salad dressing - always a hit- and all the deli items are affordable and healthy. They also have a fresh juice bar. Stop by the produce section for Valley Flora produce while you are there!”

“Fantastic store, incredible value! This store is amazing for getting your high quality bulk goods, whether it be for home or business use. We get a lot of our veg, onions, potatoes, lettuce, mushrooms and so on there. We also depend on them for 90% of the meat we buy. They also offer some great vegan options. Want to get back into some healthy home cooking at a reasonable cost? I'd highly recommend this store!”

“They have a wide variety of merchandise; groceries, apparel, all the latest in small appliances, camping gear, hardware, garden tools & plants, and everything you need to can or start canning foods. They don't offer a lot of crafting supplies, which I was also shopping for, but I found the staff pleasant and prices reasonable.”

“One of my go to markets the essentials. Friendly and welcoming workers, very homely atmosphere. Decent prices, good selections. I actually prefer to get my fuel here also, sometimes cheaper and very much cleaner tanks since they revamped the pumps/tanks. Also they have non ethanol for all your small motors 'N' such.

“Edit 7/24: I hear we might lose this Safeway. I would sorely miss the single beer cans and specialty dairy items as well as the friendly customer service faces.
This is a beautiful location. Veg in the middle of the store is a great idea! Easy in, easy out. Friendly service and there are single cans of hard seltzer! Like every Safeway they still need to work on making sure everything has a price tag. But, to their credit, it wasn't hard to get a price check.”

“Amazing Butter Chicken at American Market. My husband and I stopped in and got some ready-made Indian food meals from their cooler... delicious ?. The young man working the register was very polite and friendly. He welcomed every person who stepped through the door and asked them how they were doing. I will definitely be returning.
I happen to LOVE Indian food and music, and I am picky as hell, lol.
Unfortunately, they have had to deal with a good amount of racism (as can be seen by others' low reviews).”

“When we go to Coos Bay, we stop here on our way to the tent sale because they have an ATM. The last time we stopped here, we could smell the aroma of Indian food when we walked in. My son who is visiting from Montana has never eaten Indian food so we decided to get some rice, butter chicken and naan. Oh my goodness the food is amazing!!! Who would have ever thought from a convenience store and the price is very reasonable.”

The cashier said it was due to people not scanning all of the items they walked out with, I ended up in a line with a human checker. She was very nice and very fast. If they man the regular checkstands to alleviate long lines due to the self checkout situation,
my rating will be higher. I will see what it looks like next week. Time has gone by, and I have noticed the checkers are doing a great job keeping the lines manageable.”
“It's your average Fred Meyer. Nothing fancy. They were stocked with items that I needed so that is a positive. The employees were helpful when I asked for help. They did not approach me to see if I needed help which I would have preferred. Parking lot has plenty of parking if pulling a trailer. Don't forget to sign up for your FM card so that you can earn discounts on gas. This is always so helpful especially when driving far distances (like here from Vancouver, WA).”
“Old school corner market with plenty of choices to fill your growlers. Nice people , great selection of deli items. Lots of choices for beer and soda. Great doughnuts. Nice large off street parking area just north of the store. Lots of candy and snack foods. And something that's become difficult to find at affordable prices - genuine hand scooped ice cream cones.”
