“Only adding this review because Aura at the front desk went the extra mile for my family. I booked two rooms at the same time via a 3rd party website, but I didn't know I needed to specify the rooms needed be together (did not see an option on the site). It ended up being two rooms on two different levels. I expressed my sadness, but chalked it up to my own failing. Inconvenient, but my fault.

But before I had even gotten to unloading my things, she had already found a room for us on the same floor, saving us from that hassle! Kudos to Aura for helping us out and being so kind about it. Thank you, Aura! My parents thank you too!”

“We stayed at the Monarch Hotel in Portland, OR for two nights during our road trip from CA to Seattle. Both times, our rooms were spotlessly clean, and the staff was incredibly courteous, ensuring we had restful nights before hitting the road again. The hotel's location is excellent, close to shops and offering easy access to downtown with just a short drive.”

“I saw the other reviews about the value of this motel, and my lady and I opted to stay here rather than spend more for the same type of room. The location is superb, with plenty of food options abounding within walking distance, and more such options within a short drive away. My only issue was the really terrible power outlet that powers the bedside lamp, the plug would barely stay in, and the prongs were obviously bent so they would stay in the outlet...this is a recipe for a tragedy in that fires can happen pretty easily from loose outlets.

All of the staff were friendly and efficient, the check-in process was quick, and checking out was effortless. We will stay here again soon!”

“We stayed here for a baseball tournament and the staff was sooo inviting! We had a few teams worth of kids and they were all over the place having the time of their life. We received nothing but love and caring service. The front desk lady was absolutely amazing! She worked late the night shift and came back due to a call in for breakfast. It was amazing! Thank you for being there for us!”
