“Came out and got me started up, his tool wasn't working so I was "referred" to a mechanic to test my alternator. All he had to do was put a probe from a voltmeter on the copper in the alternator then ground it to see if it was in the range of 13.6v-14.6v.. He did tell me a good tip about diagnosing a voltage regulator in my alternator though.”
