“Really nice store and nice workers, their tacos are great and well priced at 2.50, probably my favorite tacos I have tried in Mcminnville. It is a little difficult to speak and understand if you are not a native Spanish speaker. My accent isn't too bad, but we had an extremely difficult time communicating. I could understand them, but they couldn't understand me in Spanish or in English. Was a bit frustrating.”
“The store is great, the manager/owner not so much. The manager is very rude and petty to neighboring companies, even has his employees deny us service for working at neighboring companies.

“Has anyone else noticed how GREEN the fruit has been here lately?
I have bought several watermelon's at this location over the years and every single one has been on the under ripe side. Same for the Pears, Strawberries, Grapes, and especially the peaches... it's just awful when you're expecting fresh ripe fruit.
I just bought another watermelon this week and again it was under ripe and not very sweet.
Maybe I need to start buying my produce from a higher end grocery store to get quality.”
“It was such a beautiful day that I just went for a drive. After a while I started to get hungry. When I saw this store, I decided to stop. Got a Pepsi, some chips, and a couple things from the Deli. Everything was delicious (especially the Deli items). I ate, then drove off and had a great time just driving around enjoying the day and that wonderful Deli.”

“This is my favorite little market to pick up some extra food or a lottery ticket. The owner of the store is always there to greet you with a smile and positive words. This little store has great vibes, especially because the store owner is such a fun and kind person. And it’s also at a less busy intersection and is easier to get in and out of. The store is well organized and so it’s easy to find what you want when you’re in a hurry.”

“I would NEVER have considered stopping at a gas station for lunch but my co-workers kept raving about how great the bento bowl was here so I tried it! For $6.25 it is a terrific bargain and quite delicious. I wish there were some veggies served with it but, honestly, it is plenty!”

“Pretty fun store and I would give five stars but I got overcharged for my avocados ? then called the store, the bakery answered after 8 minutes of waiting just to tell me he doesn't know what he would do about that.....well duhhh you're the bakery lol I waited to talk to produce but he said they wouldn't know the prices of their avocados either so there wasn't much of a point in waiting any longer... He said he's get to the bottom of it haha mondaine crap but I'd prefer not to spend an extra fifty cents for or organic avocados that I did not get. Next time Bakery Boy just send me to someone who knows what to do when people get overcharged....?”

“I just moved down the road and buyin pods at the counter and I look back and there's a really long line and all I can see in the hot case is corn dogs and burritos. I'm thinking why are all these people lined up for corn dogs and the cashier says they have chicken teriyaki and rice. I asked a lady walking by if it's any good she says it's effing amazing. So I got my bento box I am so glad I found this amazing spot I'm tempted to give it one star so nobody comes in but that's not cool.”

“Friendly service and a decent selection, open when others aren't and located where people need it.
I used to come here as a kid in the early 90s so it's difficult to give a review of the current ownership.. they used to have fresh butchered meats, fresh veggies, grocery items all from Western family, and a deli with killer sandwiches.
Now, they have a selection similar to a 711 or circle k, maybe a little larger. Unfortunately the place needs some cleaning and paint, but I'm glad they are available.”

“Very nice, great customer service, cashiers have all been quite genuine, pleasant and kind. Store is stocked well and full of all DG treats. Displays, shelves and floors all seemed kept and maintained good enough. Prices are also the expected DG deals. Glad this store is here. Not many are around these areas.”

“Owners are relatively nice if you regularly shop here and are able to pay for your things, and not always willing to bag your stuff if it looks like you can carry it. Prices are a little unreasonable, considering it's one of the more expensive convenient store to get soda from, but other than that... Not a bad place to pop in for a quick snack.”

“Best Fried Chicken! I found myself in Naps Thriftway in the late afternoon recently and remembered someone telling me they had great fried chicken in their deli. Well, whoever that was had it right!I bought a carton - 8 pieces of fried chicken sitting in their warming window. The deli employee who handed it to me was delightful, too.I took this carton home seriously thinking, 'it's grocery store deli chicken, how good could it really be?'Well, the breading is crispy deliciousness with a little hint of spice perfection. The meat inside is tender and also delicious. I was jones-ing for a Popeye's to built in Newberg, but Nah! We don't need 'em.”
