“I came into the market on a holiday weekend, and it was busier than I have ever seen it before. I needed a couple gallons of vinegar to make weed killer. I know they usually have it on hand, but I couldn't find it on the shelf. Multiple staff members worked together and found for me, in the back, 2 gallons of vinegar in the middle of a crazy busy store. And they did all of this with smiles on their faces as if the store wasn't busy at all. They even have local meat products! I need to shop here for all of my groceries.”
“Grocery Outlets are interesting grocers. I, and many others don't tend to go here for full grocery runs, but to supplement the fridge and pantry with hard to find or unusual items. Their stock overall is never consistent, but you can always find something unusual and high quality to try for a very reasonable price. Wine, canned drinks, and olive oil selections are the best in town, and the prices for these items are unbelievably low! The store is well-organized and items easy to find. People there are wonderful and courteous. Some stand outs IMO for anyone reading this at time of posting:
Wine: Guardia Rios Red Blend from Portugal. Outstanding medium bodied red wine perfect for cooking or drinking. Just $7 for a bottle of red with quality that usually demands five times that price.
Olivares De Roca brand olive oil. I cook almost exclusively with olive oil, and this one is a true winner. American grocers tend to fill shelves with brands that blend from different countries so the olives get stale sitting around and many aren't even true pure olive oils. This one is a fresh single-origin from Uraguay that is top notch for just $9 for a half litre. Can't beat that!
Grocery outlet's weak spot is their fruit and produce, which tends not to last as long as produce gotten elsewhere.”
“The best corn dog to ever grace upon my lips. I did not think that this was humanly possible from a General Store in Scholl's but it is! Don't sleep on this place!!! Taste so good it makes a grown man cry. I will never be the same. I am forever ruined!!! All corn dogs are now inferior since I have tried the Petrich Corn Dog! Thank you Petrich's General Store! You have a lifelong customer!!!”
“This country market stocks all the usual name brand products that are normally available in a convience store, however what sets this country store apart from other convient stores is their hot deli, food menu and selection of doughnuts and Mexican breads that are available here.
The hot deli had the usual selection of burritos, pizza pockets/sticks, and crispitos normally available and common to this type of store but they also offer German sausages that are amazing and cooked to perfection. They also have a menu of items offering a decent selection of food items that are made to order so they are always fresh out of the kitchen. Menu items are all made from very good restaurant-quality ingredients, taste phenomenal, and far exceed what I would be expecting as far as flavor and quality for food items available on this type of convenient store. Also the fresh doughnuts are obviously fresh as they are still soft and moist and of a doughnut shop quality and they ensure to stock a good variety of available choices. Great little country market with friendly staff delivering excellent customer service and some of the highest quality food items set this place apart from all the rest. I make a point to stop and shop here anytime Im out in the area.”
“Definitely worth the stop lots of pretty flowers ( in season) and the gift shop has tons of local foods like honey, jerky and other assorted things. Fresh pastry and coffee... pleasant staff... its worth stopping.”
“How this place only has 4.1 stars I'll never know. It was like walking in to a fantasy land. If you ignore the prices, this is the nicest store I've ever been in. Well stocked. Everything was faced perfectly. No overflow stock in sight on the floor. The employees here clearly care about the quality of their work.
Dollar general corporate still sucks and probably doesn't pay these exceptional employees enough but they definitely deserve some praise.

“Have started getting gas here more often recently as it's nearly thr cheapest gas in town and far more convenient than FM. The employees are all great but in particular we stopped recently during a slow afternoon and the attendant chatted with my friendly 4yo in the back seat, patiently listening as she talked about fire trucks and her brother and he kept the conversation going. After we left she made sure to tell me that he (the attendant) was very nice and she liked him.”

“Walked in for a $1 Arizona Tea, left $3 poorer and emotionally confused. The owner starred into my soul as I chose chips, the store cat judge me from the bread shelf, and outside a guy tried to sell me a used sock and a mixtape. Everything cost just too much but it's conveniently located which makes up for the drive to the other mini mart. Just don't like they sell drug drug paraphernalia so close to the park and schools.”

“Best Fried Chicken! I found myself in Naps Thriftway in the late afternoon recently and remembered someone telling me they had great fried chicken in their deli. Well, whoever that was had it right!I bought a carton - 8 pieces of fried chicken sitting in their warming window. The deli employee who handed it to me was delightful, too.I took this carton home seriously thinking, 'it's grocery store deli chicken, how good could it really be?'Well, the breading is crispy deliciousness with a little hint of spice perfection. The meat inside is tender and also delicious. I was jones-ing for a Popeye's to built in Newberg, but Nah! We don't need 'em.”
“I had a medical event here yesterday that ended up being dangerous for me and I needed to seek immediate treatment at the hospital next door. I just want to say I feel thankful that from what I can recall the employees encouraged me to worry about myself and asked if I needed help (I declined) or if they could call anyone. They were more concerned about me than the embarrassing mess I informed them I left and tried to come back to clean in an altered mental state. They put me and my safety first. I still plan on shopping here and I am extremely embarrassed about it all, but I do feel based off of my experience that I’ll still be treated the same with respect as I was before this. And that’s not necessarily guaranteed these days and so I really, really appreciate it. Thanks to everyone who helped me and I’m so sorry again for the mess. If there is a balance calculated for any items that were ruined and trashed, please reach out to this email so I can pay for it. Thanks again to all involved.”

“They’re fast, just busy. What matters is that I’ve never had a prescription not able to be filled in under two hours, usually 30 minutes. Plan accordingly for how busy it can be, mornings are best in my experience. Got ny covid and flu shot in both arms in under 5 minutes too.”

“This is my favorite little market to pick up some extra food or a lottery ticket. The owner of the store is always there to greet you with a smile and positive words. This little store has great vibes, especially because the store owner is such a fun and kind person. And it’s also at a less busy intersection and is easier to get in and out of. The store is well organized and so it’s easy to find what you want when you’re in a hurry.”
