“Nit a dollar store as one might think.. prices are ehh. But theydo have a bit of everything. Its like a mini Fredd Meyer. Frozen foods, dairy, candy, yard stuff, bedding, bath stuff, reading material, dvd's, automotive, cleaning supplies, and yes toys for the minions. Ooh almost forgot ice and mixers for the adults. ?”
“I came into the market on a holiday weekend, and it was busier than I have ever seen it before. I needed a couple gallons of vinegar to make weed killer. I know they usually have it on hand, but I couldn't find it on the shelf. Multiple staff members worked together and found for me, in the back, 2 gallons of vinegar in the middle of a crazy busy store. And they did all of this with smiles on their faces as if the store wasn't busy at all. They even have local meat products! I need to shop here for all of my groceries.”
“I stopped into get some beer and I grabbed a Chicken Tender at checkout. I ate the tender on the way home. I almost turned around to get more. That tender was better than it had any right to be. I told myself I will write a review on this when I get home. And I did! Time for beer!”
“We've shopped here for 20+ years, and under Mike's ownership this is the cleanest and most organized it's been. Also, the selection and quality of items throughout the store has also improved.

“I stopped in planning to pick up just a few items, but I ended up leaving with two full bags of great finds! This location carries a unique selection of products that my usual Grocery Outlet doesn't stock. I was especially thrilled to find organic Nature Valley Oat Milk for just $2.50—a deal I only wish the Salem store had!
The layout felt a bit awkward during this visit, though that seemed to be from seasonal Halloween displays and a few pallets being stocked. My only small disappointment was the lack of vegan dairy options, but overall, it's a wonderfully well-stocked store with fantastic deals. I'll definitely be back!”

“It was such a beautiful day that I just went for a drive. After a while I started to get hungry. When I saw this store, I decided to stop. Got a Pepsi, some chips, and a couple things from the Deli. Everything was delicious (especially the Deli items). I ate, then drove off and had a great time just driving around enjoying the day and that wonderful Deli.”
“Cruising my way through town , I wanted authentic Mexican food . And this market was amazing, nothing like authentic beans !! These days can beans are used. Unsure if the canned beans have been rinsed out .. but this spot was yummy”

“This is my favorite little market to pick up some extra food or a lottery ticket. The owner of the store is always there to greet you with a smile and positive words. This little store has great vibes, especially because the store owner is such a fun and kind person. And it’s also at a less busy intersection and is easier to get in and out of. The store is well organized and so it’s easy to find what you want when you’re in a hurry.”

“Open 24/7 with a great selection of goodies to soothe that late night craving when it occurs.
I have been in many convenience stores and this one has the best selection I have ever seen!
Most of the candy brands here, I haven’t seen in decades, are here. I bought $20 worth of candy just because I hadn’t seen many of these in so long I was in shock. Also a very large ice cream treat selection. Lots of canned goods and alcohol to choose from as well!
If you haven’t been in to check them out, you will be amazed at what all this store carries compared to what else is available in the area!

“I get my gas here and I don't do self-service, always someone nice to take care of me and the gas prices are just a couple of cents lower than everybody else. But the main reason I've been coming here for years is, their !!! gas station chicken !!! Better known as teriyaki chicken bento. It is a major must try ? get up go get it ?”

“How this place only has 4.1 stars I'll never know. It was like walking in to a fantasy land. If you ignore the prices, this is the nicest store I've ever been in. Well stocked. Everything was faced perfectly. No overflow stock in sight on the floor. The employees here clearly care about the quality of their work.
Dollar general corporate still sucks and probably doesn't pay these exceptional employees enough but they definitely deserve some praise.

“Love Jenny and am glad this place is still chuggin' along; There isn't anywhere else to buy cigs, snacks, beers or cold drinks in this part of town so they are a real god send when you need em most.”
“I have a very sensitive stomach from a surgery six months ago and my husband makes me a soup that I can actually handle but it requires a vegan sausage that only Roths carries in McMinnville and I asked the meat department if they had any in back, they didn’t but took down my name and number to call me right when they came back in stock, and they did exactly that. They were so helpful, kind and the follow through is rare these days!”

The customer service is wonderful!! I stop by every couple weeks or so on my way home from Newberg. Also, I asked for a special order to pick up in a day or two, and they were very happy to do it!!

“My go to Grocery Store (aside from Safeway). Since Safeway & Albertsons are owned by the same company, your Safeway card/account will work at both places. Great selections, great deals. The store is always clean as are the bathrooms. 5/5.”
“Friendly service and a decent selection, open when others aren't and located where people need it.
I used to come here as a kid in the early 90s so it's difficult to give a review of the current ownership.. they used to have fresh butchered meats, fresh veggies, grocery items all from Western family, and a deli with killer sandwiches.
Now, they have a selection similar to a 711 or circle k, maybe a little larger. Unfortunately the place needs some cleaning and paint, but I'm glad they are available.”

“Walked in for a $1 Arizona Tea, left $3 poorer and emotionally confused. The owner starred into my soul as I chose chips, the store cat judge me from the bread shelf, and outside a guy tried to sell me a used sock and a mixtape. Everything cost just too much but it's conveniently located which makes up for the drive to the other mini mart. Just don't like they sell drug drug paraphernalia so close to the park and schools.”
“After purchasing my groceries at Newberg, OR Safeway, I unfortunately locked my purse in the truck while loading my groceries to go home. A kind couple called AAA for me since my phone was also locked in the truck. After waiting a while, I went back into Safeway and asked if I could use the phone to call a local locksmith to see if they were available to help. BJ & Caylin who were working that evening looked up a local locksmith for me and dialed the phone number so I could request service. I was so grateful!!! The locksmith was very close and able to come right away. Thank you BJ & Caylin for going above and beyond your required duties to help a customer. I always receive great service and kindness at my local Safeway.”
“Have started getting gas here more often recently as it's nearly thr cheapest gas in town and far more convenient than FM. The employees are all great but in particular we stopped recently during a slow afternoon and the attendant chatted with my friendly 4yo in the back seat, patiently listening as she talked about fire trucks and her brother and he kept the conversation going. After we left she made sure to tell me that he (the attendant) was very nice and she liked him.”

This place has become better as of recently. The employees (morning) have become very friendly and accept number without any limit or issues. This is what other dollar generals have been missing!”
“They are in need of inventory mainly cigarettes the ones they have no one smokes let alone even want; hence why they still have the ecact sane cigarette packs still on the shelves.
Other than that the new owner is very friendly and his staff with do what they can when it comes to finding what your looking for in their convenient store.”

“Previously I had written a three star and gave some criticism, but this deli is so good about receiving feedback and taking action that I had to give them five stars. The food is fresh, you can make things your way and they’re always happy to do so, and the staff is always welcoming. If you ever encounter a problem they’re good people and all you need to do is just talk to them and they’ll always be good at finding solutions. This is a great place and it’s a great location!”
