“This was always one of my favorite stores I’ve been too, and the service was always good. One of the Cashiers always makes sure to wish you a “blessed night” and Melissa does a good job of staying on top of the cans and keeping the line moving. Because of this, John Yali and I have been loyally buying PBR and Hurricanes here for years. I was with him there on the morning of September 9th 2024 and on the evening of September 8th 2024. They have cameras in the store that captured this. Idk if they delete their camera footage or not. I heard that they made fun of doing that with their other customers tho. The reality is John did not stop drinking in June and every cashier at this mini mart knows it. He shouldn’t have testified to that in court. Because now there’s probably going to be a criminal investigation. We will find out if the rumors are true.”
“They used to have a much better selection of plant based (vegan) items before they updated the store. I liked the old feel of the store but change is inevitable I suppose ?”
“I enjoy having them right down the road but it’s a little discouraging showing up to find them closed before 6:45 when their closing time is 7:00pm. Inconsistent hours is a store killer in this area.”
“First time going in (back in September) and I was picking up supplies for my daughter's birthday. I found the decorations I was hoping for and the woman checking me out even offered to have the balloons I bought blown up. I told her she didn't have to since there was a line of ppl waiting and she said to bring them back tomorrow to get them filled then. My husband was able to bring in the receipt and got them filled no problem. Above and beyond service.”
“UPDATE:LOST A STAR FROM MY REVIEW DUE TO EARLY CLOSURE ON A SATURDAY NIGHT ?All the lights were on w the exception of the small Open neon as lots of people were still trying to flood in WELL before closing time... only to find a barred door & cashier sneaking out the side door w her boyfriend ✓ GOOGLE EVEN TOLD ME I WOULD ARRIVE AN HOUR BEFORE THE STORE CLOSED! that's almost worth striping two stars ?ORIGINAL REVIEW:no longer able to use the outhouse... not much selection of anything else beside refreshments... but the staff & considerably fair pricing is so wonderful that it ALLLLLLLMOST completely makes up for whatsoever may dissatisfy ? altogether thumbs up”

After some less positive experiences at another nearby store, I’m especially grateful to have found this place. The service here is consistently kind and appropriate, and it’s become my go-to market. Highly recommend!”

“1) Customer service is kind, polite, and helpful. 2) They always have my beer (Old English 800), unique selection of sweets, and wide selection of tobacco. 3) their prices are just like The Corner Market, in Eugene - nice/affordable $. I love this store & the folks there. This is a Great Addition for Veneta. 4) Oops, almost forgot; location is convenient, quiet area - hidden from the masses during the Country Fair - plenty of parking.”

“We had the pleasure of trying Sweet Creek Foods albacore tuna, raspberry fruit spread and blackberry fruit spreads. They are outstanding! The tuna is fantastic directly out of the jar and the fruit spreads taste like fresh berries; not at all overly sweet with a bright flavor. I cannot wait to get more!”
