“UPDATE:LOST A STAR FROM MY REVIEW DUE TO EARLY CLOSURE ON A SATURDAY NIGHT ?All the lights were on w the exception of the small Open neon as lots of people were still trying to flood in WELL before closing time... only to find a barred door & cashier sneaking out the side door w her boyfriend ✓ GOOGLE EVEN TOLD ME I WOULD ARRIVE AN HOUR BEFORE THE STORE CLOSED! that's almost worth striping two stars ?ORIGINAL REVIEW:no longer able to use the outhouse... not much selection of anything else beside refreshments... but the staff & considerably fair pricing is so wonderful that it ALLLLLLLMOST completely makes up for whatsoever may dissatisfy ? altogether thumbs up”

“Growers is an all volunteer food-buying club in Eugene, Oregon for buying natural and organic foods. I have volunteered with them since moving to Eugene. Some of the most kind, compassionate people I have met in Eugene. Only open 3 days a week and parking can be rough. Best to bike if possible. Make sure you go through orientation on your first day so you get the basics: No credit cards! Cash/check/EBT only; bring your own containers; etc. This place is saving tons of packaging from going into landfills and providing people with healthy organic food at really reasonable prices. They've been around a long time.”

“Red Barn is one of my favorite local natural grocery spots. Right in the heart of the Whitaker you can come here for practically everything you need for weekly groceries. You can also get breakfast and lunch. Their Jalepeno Popper Grilled Cheese is out if this world. Smoothies and coffee is great too! The staff here is always friendly and helpful. Very good vibes here.”

“California confused...The liquor store was unique in that it had a segregated area for the liquor. Normally in California liquor and beer and wine are all in one general area in a store, not segregated by liquor and beer and wine. The had all liquor types and sizes which was great and was able to get what I needed although I had to drive half across town to find the location. But I guess that is Oregon.”

“I think the new name is El Torito. It is much bigger on the inside. It had the feel of a family-owned grocery market. It was wonderful. The prices were low. The selection was excellent. The staff was friendly and the deli in the back was able to accommodate any cuts I needed, even the frozen meats. Great grocery destination and authentic ethnic Mexican feel. I loved it. It is my go-to shopnow.”

“Great health food store with some really good prices. I look for one wherever I go. I did take on star off because it seems to be a common practice for cashiers open new checkouts to take customers by first and fasted to get to them, and forget or just don’t go get the customers already waiting. Hopefully they improve on this ableist practice, but otherwise no complaints.”

“Nice workers and I like the gas rewards since we shop at fred meyer. Please put up a sign on pump 5 that says self service. The sign at the front of the aisles makes it seem like it is full service and only some of the full service pumps have signs so it could be much more clear. Two other cars pulled up after I moved confused as well.”

Always check for red tags, “manager’s specials,” and use the app to clip digital coupons to get the best prices. Check to see if items you want have any additional manufacturer’s coupons on the app before checking out to maximize your dollar.”

“I work here and I honestly love it. Working with these people and customers is a joy.Besides that the store is stocked with a huge amount of drinks. Each wall is just lined with coolers. You can even consider this a mini head shop. There is over 100 bongs and bubblers and stem pipes all that. Wide variety of vapes too with with about 50 different flavors. You can get also get your everyday needs like dairy products,eggs, and orange juice food too. I can go on and on about the things but that would take litterly 100 pages. Oh and lottery tickets too. Which is very popular. Thanks”

“For someone from out of town, I found this to be a very quaint store and it has a lot of what you might want/need - imagine a very very small Whole Foods. There were a few things that I was looking for that I did not find, but I may have just overlooked them and would definitely give it another try.”
