“This place is usually 5 stars plus but with all the dry grass and millions of yellow jackets ( 2 of which stung me) its not a great place to walk at the moment...tho it was still beautiful in an end of summer way! In a couple months, when the yellow jackets are gone and the beautiful green underbrush returns, it will again be a 5+! The trails are well kept and beautiful!”
“An amazing collection of used art and craft supplies at very reasonable prices. Almost overwhelming in the breadth of what they have. Bought fountain pen nibs and gouche and pastels and pretty rocks”
“This place is like a 2nd home for many years now, many family reunions have occurred in the form of concerts. It's been a steady rock for me since I was a teen, and carried into my fatherhood where I attended features with my son.WOW Hall is a crown jewel for Eugene for many, lots of amazing memories.”
“I love to peruse the aisles, the tile section and free pile. Gardening supplies, all tools, windows galore,, faucets, doors, wood of all sorts, and so much more can be found at the Franklin Ave location.”

“Oh my goodness. My husband and I volunteered today to help pack frozen meals and it was so awesome. I just want to give these folks a shout-out. They work so diligently and with the upmost care. I recommend anyone, who is able to, to spend a 90 minute time out of their week to help these folks out. As a volunteer, you feel welcomed and appreciated. I hope they, the other staff and volunteers, feel the same. We will definitely be helping out again.”
“My sister inlaw and I and I just went there to look around. And we both bought so much stuff and had to make it all fit into her car. We had outdoor chairs, an end table, a big industrial cart that we're going to make into a garden cart. Window screens and cement board. we had a lot of fun. The staff was great and helped us out and laughed at us. As we were shopping for fun.”

“This man provides amazing educational and environmentally changing experiences, we should all have the good fortune to partake in. He is an amazing resource. Bee keeping was scary to me. Our family y started keeping bees last year, by accident. A very nice, too-bar bee hive, was donated by a nice neighbor My son and I found, “Free top bar hive!” And a “how-to use it!” book here locally, and being enterprising young fellow(s), decided to put it to use.Brent was able to help us get started. We’ve fallen in love, not with the honey but with the vibes the bees bring us. They immediately awakened our senses to new things in our world and it’s been a great learning experience for my, now 5 year old. He has become more aware of our planet by the bees important, not scary, presence in our lives. If I can review anything, it’s Brent and the Bees. They are a safe and environmentally helpful refuge to any property big enough to safely host them. Thank you!”
“ToolBox Project has saved me so much money! Instead of buying tools I only need a couple times a year, I borrow them from ToolBox. I also like the volunteers who help me check out the tools. Great program, great people! Every neighborhood should have a tool lending library as cool as ToolBox. Thank you staff and volunteers!”
“My daughter went here for Preschool. Teachers are very nice and excellent with kids. My daughter loved it there, and her teacher. Her brother gets to go this September.”
“Staff member was super helpful! And I can't think of any other business that does more to prevent electronic waste, by turning cast-offs into resources for community members to use instead of buying new.”

“Lots of species offered at their native plant sales in spring and fall, hard to find Willamette Valley grasses, local ecotype wildflowers like our subspecies of baby blue-eyes that are always incorrect in "wildflower mixes", prairie and woodland species that are climate adapted and drought tolerant shrubs like Ceanothus cuneatus. Highly recommend their plant sales if you live in the area.”
“I highly recommend this place my son loves it so much, and it’s so fun watching him interact with other kids! Tons of toys and safe play structures for kids to explore!”
“Bags of Love is probably the best charity ever! The volunteers do such wonderful things to make every child feel special! Bags of Love is changing lives of children and everyone has a part in making it special.”
“The staff was very polite, courteous and helpful! The price was right and better than any other place in town. If you're not taking your shredding material here you're wasting your time and money.”
“I have been working with Mike Moos, a trainer at the Eugene YMCA. Since I started working with Mike I have grown stronger and feel healthier. Mike developed an individual program that is helping me reach my fitness goals. This summer I hope to complete the Pacific Crest Trail I continue to feel better, stronger, and healthier. Thanks, Mike”
“Nothing bad here, all good. Work with them, and they'll work with you. If they can, they'll find help for you that you didn't even think was available to you.”
“Cannot state enough how incredible of an experience I had with Wiggly Tails from start to finish. After losing our dog a few months ago, we finally felt ready to open our home to a new pup. We found their site and submitted an application to check out a few different litters. The application was thorough on dog ownership experience and clearly vets the best homes to reach out to. Within 24 hours a foster parent for one of the litters reached out, checked with my landlord that I am allowed to own this dog, and generally interacted with me to get a vibe on what sort of owner we would be. I appreciate them finding the right home for the right dog rather than first come first serve, which is clearly stated on their site.We went to a meet and greet the following weekend and left that same day with our beautiful Summer (formerly Tampa). She came home with us and her big brother immediately accepted her as one of the pack. It has only been a short time so far, but we can immediately tell that we found one of our dog soul mates. As long as we are in Eugene we plan on getting each of our next dogs from Wiggly if possible! And anybody I know who mentions they’re looking for their next four legged friend, they will be the first name out of my mouth. Thank you Cheryl and thank you Wiggly Tails!”
“Helpful in transitional ways. Go in person and drop off an application....it takes a few months but if your still needing help....they are very kind and compassionate”
“I have bought many cars from them. I keep coming back, because they are helpful, honest, and have very fare pricing. If you want to buy a car, I highly recommend St. Vinnie's.”
“My wife is currently under Dr Abraham’s care, since being under his care I have learned he is the same doctor that she had for a burn injury five years ago. Since this injury and learning new knowledge as a retired 20 year NREMT-I I love learning to help my wife by doing so, physical therapist, Leslie informed me that due to her and Dr Abraham‘s dedication to his patient and his intensity to make sure that he provides the best care to his patients, went so far above and beyond that the protocol for burn patients was actually changed per Workmen’s Comp regulations. They get better treatment options now as a burn patients through Workmen’s Comp than they did prior to Dr Abraham‘s fight for My Wife April.
All of them that work so hard to get the therapeutic protocols in place to help burn patients. it’s absolutely amazing and they need to be recognized for what they did.
Thank YOU sincerely you are all amazing! Phenix A.”

“I haven't personally gotten in to their health clinic services, but their outreach program does wonders for the community. They give out blankets, tents, sleeping bags, safe use supplies, underwear and socks, hygiene supplies, a ton of stuff the large unhoused community in Eugene needs”
“This particular location has such an immense book section; plan on browsing for hours if you’re a bookworm! And the best part is the prices! Children’s books are only 99 cents but several times a year they put all books and clothes on sale half price, so watch their Facebook page “Shop St. Vinnies” to learn of the special sale days! St Vinnies overall is the best thrift store in our area who does the most for the community. When you donate or purchase from them, you are truly helping the less fortunate of Oregon, including families like mine.”
“Son and I had an amazing time. We actually spent about 3 hours there. They had 35 active aviaries on this day. The program is a must. Our celebrity for the 11:30 program was Dmitri the Eurasian Eagle Owl. We will definitely return!”
