“I can not say enough good things about Haslip Transmissions. Eric is AMAZING! My son was visiting friends in Eugene over the holiday weekend from Southern California. The car was having shifting issues & his check engine light came on. He went to a Station to find out what was wrong. He was told it was the transmission. We called Haslip Transmissions after searching the web on a Sunday. Eric answered the phone even though his shop was "closed" and he offered to help. He met my son, test drove the car and diagnosed the problem. My son is safely on his way back to California thanks to Eric.”

I’ve brought a couple transmissions to them, a 5 speed manual off my 1987 Toyota that the input shaft bearing had failed, they were able to clean it up and get me back on the road for a truly honest price considering my situation. Since then I’ve had them rebuild an automatic transmission out of a 2001 Honda CR-V in a customer/ friend’s rig that had slipping issues, installed in the car it’s been running great since! “I think I entered another dimension, a place where customer service and honesty still exist. My visit today put me into shock but in a very good way.I took my vehicle in this morning for a very simple "repair" but one I could not do myself. Without going into unneeded details about the repair, I fully expected it to be with them all day for this small "repair".My (first) shock came when I got a call about 2-hours after I dropped it off and was told it was all done, problem solved. I was very happy they got it done so fast and would have been more than pleased with this alone. But my real shock came when I picked it up. I pulled out my credit card to pay for the repairs and was told "no charge"!!! Who does that in this day and age??? This really made my entire day.Obviously with this customer service, and taking care of a customer who had only been there once before a long time ago, they really know how to impress somebody. A shop like this really needs to be at the top of your speed dial for auto repairs; they are on the top of mine now and I will be back. Awesome job!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance”

“I went in for shocks and struts but that wasn’t the problem at all. They diagnosed the problem as ball joints and steering rack and wanted to know who misinformed me. I went in the very first day after the ice storm had cleared up on Thursday and they had it ready on Friday. They were great!Friendly staff,clean shop,and apparently very honest. They could have just done the work and sent me on my way but they didn’t. Thanks to everyone for the great job!”
