“Solid work replacing the front brake pads and rotors on my '13 Subaru Impreza at a decent price. However, beware the upsell.
Their multi-point inspection claimed that I needed new front lower control arms and a replacement wheel bearing — for which they quoted me $3,600. ? I got a 2nd opinion from an independent mechanic who specializes in Subarus; definitely needed a new wheel bearing, but suspension work unnecessary.
On a certain level, I get it. Inspections help limit the shop's liability and they gotta turn a profit. But ALWAYS get a 2nd opinion, especially for repairs you didn't originally come in for.”
“My coworker referred me to A&M. I just installed a 2” lift on my geo tracker and had them do an alignment (adjust toe and camber). Wow my tracker drives like a race car now. Great work!! A+++”
“Excellent experience. Rarely have I come across a business and owner who hits all the marks... the team at Factor Wheel does excellent work with excellent customer service. Jim was fantastic. Flexible to get the restoration of my four wheels moving quickly. Also the work was done when he said! No bull there, just did what he said he would do. The wheels came back looking new and all the scratches and ware were gone.
Jim is a great business person. He understands the customers. He was flexible, provided good suggestions, helped with references, and excellent follow-up.

“I had been in an accident on Friday (9/6/24) which resulted in a blown tire, I called Gresham Premier that Sunday because I’ve had wonderful service from them prior. Danny, answered my call, ordered my tire & had the tire in the shop within 24 hours. I called Monday explaining the nightmare of issues I had already been dealing with my car 2 weeks before (mechanic wise). He asked if I could come in Tuesday, but after explaining what I had already been dealing with, he told me to stop by at 4pm on Monday and they would take care of me. Within 15 minutes, they had my car in the back & tire replaced. With the labor & cost of a BRAND NEW TIRE, including balancing and alignment, I walked out paying a beautiful price of $140. I seriously will NEVER go anywhere else when it comes to my tires. I’ve had them give me an envelope full of business cards so that I can hand them out to people I know. I even have family come up from Southern Oregon for their tires and prices because they are THAT AMAZING. Seriously, I may brag too much about you guys ;)

“Ran over a huge metal screw on MLK on my way to the PDX airport. Although they were busy with plenty of new tire clients, they were able to quickly remove my completely flat tire, pull the screw, plug it, and get me back on the road in time for my flight. Really appreciate their willingness to help me out quickly, and they were very reasonable at $20. I am extremely thankful and highly recommend them!”

“Easy, fast experience! Walk-in only, which kinda thru me off, but I can see how the system works and seems good to me. Car was done in around 1 hr, for about 1/3 less than the other shop I go to.
The woman at the front desk said “have a seat, I’ll write an invoice” and proceeded to get on her phone. When she started mopping, it was clear there was a misunderstanding, so I asked if I was free to leave, or if I was waiting to pay first. She said it was free to leave. Came back an hr later, paid $380 for my Prius tires and got my car. Done”

“I brought these guys some new wheels and tires to have mounted and balanced. They got me in the same day, they actually got me in in a couple hours, and I was out quicker than I was in. I watched them do the work and they were very careful of the new wheels. They were also very detailed oriented, for example they asked me what color balancing weights I would like. I thought that was a nice little gesture and show that they were paying attention and actually cared. “Les Schwab in Milwaukie is the best customer serviced based repair shop I've experienced in years. I had a terrible experience with 2 of their other stores; HWY 212 in Clackamas and NE Division St. in Portland. First off, I had an account on HWY 212 and bought $1200.00 in new tires. 2 of them leaked air and went flat every week for months. When I asked them to fix the problem they said my wheels were bad and needed to buy another $1200.00 for new wheels. Out of frustration I called the Milwaukie center, asked them if they would warranty 212's work and they said yes. I immediately transferred my account to them where they fixed the wheel problem by simply cleaning them with the tires off. I haven't had a problem since and it's been 2 years.
Then, last year my daughter had a tire problem on her little car and contacted the Division St. store. They told her she needed $1200.00 in new tires. That's what I paid for my big truck! So I contacted Milwaukie and got a new quote for $400.00 for a full set. I added my daughter to my account and will never visit the other two stores again. They're both criminal in their charges!”
