I’ve visited Shop Amrapali several times, and each experience has been special. Sushmita is incredibly generous with her time and spirit. She has even welcomed us to sit and gather in the shop for hours just talking, which speaks to how community-minded she truly is.
Her henna work is exquisite, and her creativity shows in everything she does. Sushmita is talented in so many ways and brings warmth and intention to her space. Shop Amrapali is more than a store. It feels like a community hub.

“What a fantastic experience! I am from North Carolina and was visiting my stepdaughter. I absolutely hate shopping for bras but desperately needed new ones. And I had no idea what size I even wear now. I walked in and was warmly greeted by Hanna(h). She measured me, brought me different styles to try on and EVEN SPELLED MY NICKNAME RIGHT: LIBBY!!! I left feeling so uplifted! And with 3 wonderful, well-fitting bras ordered! I would absolutely go back if I lived in Portland! Highly recommend!!”

“Went on a Saturday to J.Jill just to see what type of items they have at in their store. The product they carry are closing, shoes, jewelry, and accessories. Most of the items are for women who are a little bit older in age, I would say.The layout of the store was quite nice, there was lots of walking space. Items were clearly labeled and price. I would say the prices are a little bit on the higher side. They do carry a variety of sizes, including plus size.The employees who work there are quite friendly and welcome you when you walk through the door.I would definitely recommend this store for women in their mid-thirties and above.”

Which isn't bad in itself except that when they thought I wasn't buying, the treatment was different.”
“Every time I go into this Maurices location, I am greeted warmly, told what deals are available, and encouraged to ask employees for help with anything I need. I find this location to be a lovely place to shop. The employees are super helpful with finding sizes, taking things to a dressing room as you shop, and offering styling help if desired. The clothes are cute, and they have pants available in different lengths, which is a must for me!”
“Rue 21 has the latest in fashion, they carry young trendy clothing. They keep up with what is in fashion nowadays. Route 21 also carries a variety of perfumes and Colognes With great sense. Other than that the store was clean and the staff was friendly.”
“Macy's closed across the street. Came in and they didn't have my pants size and helpful staff found some in the back. The extra mile and friendly service during checkout warrants 5 stars. I will say GAP style should be updated. It's boring:)”
