“BEWARE - Windmaster market would not take responsibility for their attendant who put “gas” in our Diesel vehicle. At the time of the incident the manager on duty said they were at fault but after it was towed and serviced to Riversedge Automotive they would not pay the bill. After purchasing fuel and goods from this local business for well over 25 years we will never go back. The new owners didn’t want to take responsibiliy for their employee’s mistake????Edit- *It took 7 days and the manager called me back and apologized for the misunderstanding. He apparently spoke with the owner and they realized the liability of the situation and paid for the $700 service. Luckily the vehicle was never started after the addition of gas so that saved the motor from catastrophic failure. If you are a Diesel customer I’d advise you to always check the attendant and make sure they don’t make that mistake again. We added an additional “Diesel Only” sticker and a new gas cap tag to our VW TDi Golf to try and prevent this unfortunate situation from happening again. Thank You Windmaster Market for doing the right thing…”

“Nobi's ALWAYS has the lowest prices! It's worth the extra minutes. They've also got off-road diesel which was super convenient for me. Just have to watch your entry/egress, it's on a tricky corner.”

“An easy in-and-out gas station and convenience store in Hood River. The staff are friendly, they have a great variety of products and are very close to interstate 84. Great place for a stop”

“Quickest gas stop ever. Bro came up in 2 seconds, authorized the transaction in 1 second. Exceptional customer service, really dig the vintage vibe. Please don't upgrade to a 7-Eleven”

“The gas pumps all say self service, something they had to institute because they can't find anyone willing to work. Sad state of the times we are in and this is happening everywhere, not just gas stations. Now, some people like and want to pup their gas and are angry that it's not the norm in Oregon. I'm not one of them! I've zero desire to get out of my car and pump gas. I'm happy to get out of my car to get a Starbucks or pick up food, something most of the people who want to pump their own gas won't do. It's a paradox. Anyway, back to the review! As I was about to get out of my car to try and figure out the pump, I was surprised to see an attendant approaching my window. He said he'd be happy to pump the gas which i Didn't hesitate to say, yes, fill it up, please. He explained how they can't get help, if they hire people, especially younger workers, after they get their first paycheck they quit. Then sometimes try to come back. I've been going to this gas station for years as the location is super convenient, just a few feet from the I-84 entrance or exit and on the way to White Salmon. I can't fault them because they can't find or retain help as most all service industries are dealing with the same. Retailers, restaurants, farmers market vendors, lifeguards, grocery stores - it's happening everywhere. Prices were better than any other station at $4.39 for regular which is $4.49 in Troutdale and still over $5 in Portland. They also have a food mart but I've never had a reason to go in there.Located next to McDonalds and Starbucks, near Best Western across from the Marina.”

“I had the pleasure of getting to know this wonderful man John Carson. I was a caregiver for him at his home in Lake Oswego and then in an assisted living home in West Linn. We would go for walks and he would share his life stories with me. I was so impressed by this lovely man. He worked hard for everything he got in life. He was so athletic. Climbing mountains. Hiking running and swimming. He would walk an hour every day up hill in the west linn area rain or shine for his exercise in his 90s . Incredible! I thought the world of him. I will truly miss him. God bless you John.”

“Lowest price for regular along our route. Easy to pull in RV and fuel up. The pumps are now all self serve. In order to get your loyalty rewards for Safeway you need your card with number to enter at the pump. Easy place to walk the dog. There is a DQ right next door. Oh so tempting.”

“Fabulous Ace Hardware right next to Rosauers on 12th Street. The footprint of this store is much bigger than the White Salmon location. Large aisles, well stocked, clean and organized. The customer service is exceptional! While I'm often there for the typical hardware items for home projects, I can't visit the store without checking out the home area where they often have really nice decor like dish towels, candles and kitchen gadgets. The garden area is also a must visit for whimsical yard art, glass hummingbirds and healthy indoor plants. Parking lot is huge! I love everything about this store.”

“Store is great and convenient and the employees are nice but a little too blunt. Customer service is a fine balance. One of the employees told me I was too quiet and then the employee tried to continue the conversation to try to put a bandaid on what she said. Really not appropriate to tell customers they are too quiet. Maybe just ask the customer to repeat what they said politely? Regardless it’s a great store I just think management needs to have a conversation with staff and how they word things to customers since we are what drives that business profit.”

“M & M prolly works for Chevron. Left No name at all. Very convenient. This younger dude pumping gas since the snow storm is just awesome. He's so easy to strike up a conversation with and he even opened the door for my wife. All around I'll be coming back just to get a dog treat that I know hasn't had gas hands all over them. He's such a sweet kid and cute too. We always come in and get cookies. They are the best. I'd highly suggest this gas station. You get what you pay for!”
