1000 Upper Applegate Rd, JacksonvilleWe visited several wineries in the area, and this was our favorite! We were greeted by the sweetest pups when we arrived. The manager was so friendly and provided a wonderful tasting for us based upon what we liked (instead of just a prescribed flight of wines). As we commented on a couple of them, he brought us other samples he thought we'd like better (and we did). Exactly what a visit to a winery should be...we left with a couple of bottles of our favorites. A definite 5 star experience!

230 E C St, JacksonvilleWe had a fantastic meal at C St Bistro, and it was absolutely worth the quick detour off I-5. The pork chop special was outstanding--perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The homemade lobster ravioli special with shrimp and cod was exceptional and felt like something you'd expect at a much higher-end restaurant. Chef Paul is clearly accomplished and incredibly talented--his attention to detail, balance of flavors, and execution really stand out in every dish we tried. The wine list features excellent local wines that paired beautifully with our meal. We also loved learning that they grind sirloin to order for their burgers, which speaks volumes about their commitment to quality. The pizza coming out of the kitchen looked amazing too and is definitely on our list for next time. If you're anywhere near Jacksonville or passing through on I-5, C St Bistro is a true gem and well worth the stop.

Jacksonville Inn
175 E California St, JacksonvilleSuch a gem in the sweetest little town! We had originally planned to stay just one night in Jacksonville (at a different hotel) while we were on the road, but we ended up staying a second night in town here at the Jacksonville Inn. We were fortunate enough to chat with the owner at the wine lounge and ended up meeting great people, having a wonderful time! The restaurant downstairs has amazing food, the wine lounge has SUCH good wine with lots of fun tastings and music events, the hotel has been so beautifully and comfortably renovated, and the whole thing is run by wonderful people! We want to come stay here for the Brett Festival next summer!

545 N 5th St, JacksonvilleMy friend and I traveled here on Day 1 of our trip to Oregon as we needed a pick-me-up after getting off the plane. We ate amazing food and had amazing coffee! The people were kind, the food was good, and the atmosphere was relaxing. We went back again on Day 5 of our trip for lunch and another coffee :) highly recommend!

La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant
150 S Oregon St, JacksonvilleThis place is amazing! Fantastic chips and salsa. Everything was cooked to perfection. One thing that released stood out to me was the Mexican rice. I know it sounds like it wouldn’t be that big of a deal. But the Mexican rice is phenomenal. Guacamole was on point. And the portion sizes were amazing. I will definitely be coming back here.
