“This post office is always very friendly and efficient. Everyone who works here has been extremely nice and they do well with the amount of people they have. Before moving here I dreaded going to the post office but not anymore.”
“Rae helped me send an international package this afternoon, and she went way above and beyond to help me get it sent correctly. She was so patient through the whole process, which was especially amazing given that it was Friday afternoon just before closing time. Thank you!”
“I’ve had nothing but good, helpful, and friendly service at this USPS location over a 25 year span of time. Yes, sometimes waiting in line is part of the deal, but it’s so they can give each person AHEAD OF YOU, the attention needed by their matter, which was there before YOURS.”
“travis went above and beyond with me with his service. he not only let me in a few minutes early; he also was able to locate my package. he was also able to verify my identity for informed delivery! 5/5 for travis. i hope he has an amazing day :)”
“I think “ kayoung “ or “ kachong” was her name but she was very nice and helpful on what box/envelope I should use to ship my package in :) ^~^ ty very much”
“Super friendly employees, only been delayed during Holiday season when EVERYONE was there to mail stuff out. Rest of the time its usually empty. I've gone around lunch break and after work and close to closing and its always either empty or a handful of people, and the employees are welcoming.
Parking is limited and sucks sometimes, but that's everywhere in PDX.”
“My wife and I have used this location for over 27 years now. We have 3 local businesses and use USPS a lot. Mark and the current staff here are amazing. Every now and then I stop in at Neaf rd. and am reminded of just how great this location is!”
“Leon is my go-to guy for all my shipping needs. He took such great care of me when I needed help sending out my passport renewal that I even brought my Dad back to see Leon when he needed his renewal! Treasure this man!”
“I have found after 15 years doing business at this Clackamas Post Office to be extremely helpful everyday and as fast ,giving the help and answering customer questions, to be the very best caring people with a degree in understanding patience and Honesty.”
“Friendly staff, easy to walk there if you live in FoPo. They can be a little busy in the afternoon but wait time is decent. Good selection of stamps and supplies. If you drive, parking lot is okay too.”
“Just want to give a huge shout out to the post master of this post office. She went above and beyond to help us find our missing packages. Turns out it was a simple mistake, but it shows alot about her leadership to handle the task on her own. Thank you again.”
“Love the new location. Isn't as packed as it used to be, got the young man up front who was very knowledgeable and kind. favorite post office in the area by far!!!”
“Well, ya know, it's the USPS. It's not a restaurant or a nail salon. They don't work for tips, and it's a hard job, even when you don't have to deal with the public. But who else is going to take a hand addressed letter from a 12 year old in Brooklyn, PDX, and deliver it to, idk..say... Perth. For $0.45? Anyone??..that's right, nobody but the USPS. This is our little neighborhood post office, and I, for one, appreciate their hard work. Also, I've never had an issue or seen anyone have an issue here at this particular branch. Smells fine, too.”
“Where did Deb go? She was an absolute legend, I’ve never met/seen a person slang packages like she did… very keen on the passport process as well, I would mail more stuff if she were still here. Always appreciated her knowledge on the forms as well.
Hope retirement is treating her well..
Long live Debbie!!!!”
“I come here a few times a year for the past year…always a fairly quick and painless visit, all things considered. Appreciate Scott pulling out some stickers for my toddler on our most recent trip!”
“Not sure why all the negative reviews. I always call this location when my package is lost and they've always been super helpful. And the staff there is friendly if you need to come in to pick up a package. I don't think people know how good they have it here compared to other cities/states.”
“The lady working there this morning was very kind and helpful. Appreciate her so much!!! But the man working there this morning seemed very bothered to help and did provide any helpful information or make any attempt to help. He definitely hates working here and it shows.”
“I am a big fan of all the employees at the Milwaukie post office. I know they have the weekends off, so go then boo-hoo but they are always so reliable whenever I am there Monday through Friday they all rock and I respect each and everyone of them.”
“Not the most timely service for deliveries, but I haven't dealt with this location in-person, except for once. I had some packages that they held after not being able to verify my new address for some reason. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was friendly and helpful. I went by one day and the service desk was closed, but it was within the time frame he gave me. I knocked and he had left a note on my packages for an easy pickup. I appreciated his service and that he corrected the issue. Side note: they don't answer when you call. He saw my inquiry after being unable to reach anyone and he called me.”
“We went in to post some post cards from our travels and Herb helped us quickly and efficiently!
He was personable and was happy to chat and tell us about Portland. It was nice meeting him.
P.S. the negative reviews feel over-the-top.”
“Just stopped in to send a couple of packages out. Chris was super helpful and able to rearrange boxes to help me ship them out at a more affordable cost. Thank you Chris!!”
“I have the mail lady in the state of Oregon and beyond I'm sure! She always goes above and beyond, I never get anybody else's mail only my own, she's very personable and I hope she never leaves the post office!!!! Thank you so much Mo for all your hard work!”
“We had such a great experience with Ben! We came in needing a passport, and he was incredibly kind and helpful from start to finish despite being very busy. He walked us through every step of the process, explained everything clearly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It made what could have been a stressful situation feel so easy and smooth. Thank you so much, Ben for your outstanding service we truly appreciate you!”
“The workers at the Tigard Post Office have always been kind, patient and helpful. On a recent visit, the clerk suggested repackaging an international parcel to save money. Her recommendation saved me approximately $80! So appreciative of her advice.”
“How dare the post office follow government policy, and federal law! This post office refused to vault over my electric fence. Run past my 3 attack dogs, and have it on my door my 10am! This is absolutely unfair!”
“These customer reviews are unhinged, this is the best post office in SW Portland. I visit 2-3 times a week for business, employees doing their best every day. Drop box is maintained so it doesn't get too full. Clean facility, keep it up!”
“Kay is fantastic and totally saved the day for me and my family. She took her time to find my package when the address label had been messed up. Kay is a 5* person and provides excellent service!”
“I visited this location for passport photos. Employee Clay did an excellent job for me. I noticed that they make yard signs for city council candidates too when the candidate dropped in. They also rent mailboxes, offer fingerprinting, along with other services. This is a well-run, family-owned, local business with strong neighborhood ties.”
“What a treat to have such an engaging and helpful postal worker. I wish I had gotten his name but he was a delight! He directed me to the downtown location for passport services and they had horrible customer services. FYI- it appears neither do passport services. You’ll need to make appointment online.”
