“This is a governmental agency who’s been chronically underfunded and understaffed. You are supposed to expect delays and slow delivery times. That said, I have never had a bad experience in this location. All employees are efficient and pleasant. You can now do a very short survey by scanning the QR code on your receipt or the signs inside the building.”
“I just wanted to share that the person doing passports that helped me today made a lasting impression on me. They were so kind and calm and made the situation less stressful. Getting a passport and dealing with official documents and stuff always stresses me out; I’m just an anxious girlie and this person was so lovely to interact with and really made the experience so pleasant! “I was in from out of state to help clean out my mom’s home. Usually I’m very prepared with all I need to ship. Since it’s not my place, I was concerned about having everything ready to send. “I kinda didn't want to write this review and draw attention to this new Post Office location, as it is very new, and seemingly still undiscovered by the masses. With the loss of the location right next to the airport, having this location open up on the opposite side of 205 is basically just as convenient. Even better, I've been able to just walk in and approach the counter immediately, every time. The place is usually empty, and the attendant on duty must frequently be summoned with the bell out front.
No passport services offered here (yet), but they are apparently working on adding this in the future. Other than that, it's your usual post office, so you know what to expect...except the lines. Hopefully it'll stay that way!
Also, big shout out to Bing who (in addition to being the only employee I've seen work here), is very helpful and friendly, even helping me save $10 by on my last mailed package by offering me a cheaper shipping option!”
“Considering it’s is a post office, which are all overworked, under resourced and highly utilized…this location is doing great at handling challenges with skill and customers with grace. I go a couple times a week to ship packages and have appreciated my experiences even when it’s busy. The staff are helpful and friendly I actually enjoy stopping in and seeing them. When you interact with workers (or leave reviews) try to maintain respect and empathy.”

“I am a big fan of all the employees at the Milwaukie post office. I know they have the weekends off, so go then boo-hoo but they are always so reliable whenever I am there Monday through Friday they all rock and I respect each and everyone of them.”
“Have always had a typical post office experience here. Most of the slowness comes from other people/customers asking questions and not having everything ready...hence asking questions part. Staff have always been nice to me when I've needed assistance either for mailing or PO box stuff. Added pictures of hours of operation for stuff that doesn't require staff assistance, ie PO box hrs., ect.”

“Amazing for returns!! They accept FedEx, UPS, and USPS. No more running around to a bunch of different stores. Plus, the owners are so sweet. I will be doing all of my returns here from now on. They also do Passport photos, and a bunch of other services. Bonus—there’s a very cute antique mall downstairs.”
“I'll start by saying I was having a very bad day, one of those kinds of days where it seems like the universe is against you and everything just keeps going wrong. I visited the Waterfront/Madison Street USPS location for the first time for a passport where I was greeted by Coco and Sharon. Teary-eyed and not my finest moment in public, they went out of their way to help me. I will never forget the kindness and empathy they both showed me, they completely turned my day around. I hope so much goodness comes to these two special ladies. We need more people like Coco and Sharon in this world! :')
And I hope that if Sharon or Coco reads this, they know how appreciative I truly am.”
