“I have a love/hate relationship with this store...I can't ever go in to just browse. I always find an excuse to get something, so I have to limit my trips so I don't break my budget. With that said, I haven't been to a wide variety of other disc golf stores, however this one seems top notch. They carry a wide variety of brands, even new releases! I have not been disappointed. I am even impressed with their lost disc program where if somebody brings your lost disc to the store, they notify you.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this establishment!”

“This review is years overdue if I'm honest. I've never had a bad experience at this shop. Right now I'm having some self induced issues, called them up and they told me to stop on by. They're currently inspecting my phase 4 for any potential issues cause by a mishap that was easily avoidable on my part and I couldn't be more grateful for their welcoming open doors.
Not to mention I had some fitment issues with a sight I purchased from them, by no means their fault, just proprietary systems function best with proprietary equipment. They accepted the return with no questions asked, and even offered some help and advice to solve the issue. But after looking everything over we came to the same conclusion at the end of it.
Excellent shop! Knowledgeable staff. And always willing to help.

“To be quite honest the store is a little cluttered with low stock but Walt is a very kind, honest and upfront owner. He is very nonjudgemental and outgoing and he is also very highly knowledgeable in firearms. He is also able to do a good amount of gun smithing needs with quality equipment and can give you advice about firearms, attachments and even gear/kit. Walt did a red dot install for me for an Acro P2 and told me to check it after 500 rounds in case it wiggled, zeroed it in an I ran 1150 rounds in the past few weeks and his work shows for itself. He glued the threads down carefully. I also dropped my Glock out of my holster and it landed on the edge of the optic with no damage or knocking off my zero. This is defiantly a place I’d support locally. I’ll be back brother. See you soon. -Jimmy”

“If you're looking for a tennis racket to invest in, this is the place to go! Plenty of options to choose from, which at first can be overwhelming but the staff are incredibly knowledgeable. I went in with the intention of just looking around. Hoping to get a little more insight of what would work for me. Jackson was the representative that helped me, extremely friendly and asked great questions to understand what I was looking for. He has amazing court knowledge and an extraordinary knack to understand someone's wants/needs. Having said that, as someone who just brought home a new racket. I highly recommend Player's Racquet Shop to anyone at any skill level. I give great praise to Jackson for spending the time to not only narrow down a racket that works for me but also sharing his tips and tricks to help me improve as a player.”

“Okay, I've finally figured out that the reason I can't find Merrell outlets all over Portland is because there are Columbia outlets everywhere, instead. The deals I got here made me just as happy as the deals I'm used to getting at my favorite Merrell outlet in Folsom. I got two pairs of waterproof nonslip boots for work-- one Columbia and one Sorel-- both for $55. I had almost purchased a similar pair of Columbia boots at DSW for $70 a few days ago, so I ended up being so glad I held out for a better deal. They had so many good deals at this outlet, it was literally overwhelming. They had an entire floor of clearance Columbia and Mountain Hardware jackets. I also noticed a huge selection of PFG gear. I'm not into fishing, but I like their lightweight long sleeve sunblocking shirts.
Customer service was friendly, one of the employees was also a seasonal national park worker, so we ended up talking about that a little bit. Overall a great experience and I would definitely shop here again.”

“Love taking my friends to shoot in the open range or they have the dark room where you shoot at live animals such as elk, deer, there coming out on a canvas with a blanks, all the staff there are super friendly and very knowledgeable bend over backwards to help you can't say enough about this place I recommend it to all my bow hunting friends. And the owners that are pretty much every day and he's on that place for me me many years again super friendly guy you ask him a question if he had the answer if he'll give it to you in detail so you can take that knowledge and put it towards your shooting.”

“Located at Clackamas Town Center, the Duck store caters exclusively to the University of Oregon faithful. It's a small store that has a little bit of memorabilia, a good amount of gifts, and a lot of apparel. The selection seems limited but there are nice pieces from time to time. The clearance section is never well stocked and the men's selection can be slim pickings. The children section is pretty decent and has some fun items that work well for babies, and dedicated sections of potential toys for youngins. I found the store to be more useful for small items such as keychains, magnets, and the occasional rare Oregon swag. They also have seasonal items such as socks, hats and sunglasses. A lot of the items found in store can be found also online and can be arranged to be picked up in the store or delivered directly to any address. It's just more fun buying it here because of the no sales tax. Customer service is solid although because of how casual and slow the store is, one might not even notice they're there at all. The parking is shared with the mall parking lot and it's never busy in here. Even though the chances of me walking out of here with something is unlikely, It is still nice to see what they have if I can't find any other duck store in close proximity. Go Ducks!”

“Made a Yelp account just to leave this review. I called in on 3/30/2024 about some last-minute items I needed to grab before Easter. The manager Kyle answered the phone - he did some price checks for me and was incredibly helpful. When I got into the store, Kyle remembered me from my phone call. He directed me to Matthew and Connor to help me find the items I was looking for. I could tell these guys knew what they were talking about, and I could tell they genuinely enjoyed their jobs. Truly a 5/5 star transaction, and I will definitely be coming back to give them my business.”
