“My friend and I stayed here for an impromptu getaway recently. We are new to B&Bs and such so we were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality. The lady who checked us in and cooked us breakfast was an exceptional host.There is soothing music playing when you enter your room, and all the rooms have different views of the ocean.Overall very cozy and upscale, clean, great breakfast, we will be back!”

“Cute little spot with easy access to whale watching tours. This little spot is very modern, clean and friendly. My husband and I arrived after 6pm the office communication was fantastic. They called to give us exact check instructions as well as recommendations for food/activities. If arriving after 6 remember that this Depoe is a small town, most restaurants and stores close by 8pm.When we arrived the lobby area is very inviting. It was super clean the fire place was kicking and they left out pitchers of drinking water, clean plates and utensils for guest to use. Thanks for being thoughtful! They had board games and a small workout area they even thought about the fur babies. They had bowls and beds for them. They also have a laundry room for guest that was free.Our room had a glass door that overlooked the Harbor which is where we went for the whale watching tour. The room is simple it had a bed refrigerator, a cute corner, swing a TV and a table. The room did come with a fan and a sound machine. We are not picky and really just wanted a clean safe place to sleep. It reminded me of a bed and breakfast. It’s set up similar to a house. You can hear the noice from other guest room but that didn’t bother us. If you are a light sleeper or looking for sound proof rooms you may not love it.Personally I highly recommend staying here. It’s affordable, clean and close to food/the ocean. Thanks for a great stay! I hope others will enjoy it as much as we did.”

“My husband and I stayed here just one night on our coastal road trip. Wish we had arrived earlier in the day and enjoyed the property more. Great location, quiet, amazing ocean views from the room. The hotel stairs to the beach are out but the public ones are right next to the property outside the yard gate and were actually closer. We couldn’t see the sunset from our patio as it’s too far north but a quick walk or drive up the street would have given a great view of the sunset. We had a full kitchen, very tiny shower, queen bed (super comfy), and living room, dining table. Nice and clean too. Tesla charger on property. We will be back and staying longer next time.”

“Clean, peaceful, and comfortable place to stay. They had toiletries and extras that aren't available at most places. Even had microwave popcorn in the kitchen, which made my daughter very happy! Parking spots were a little tight, but we made do. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Great place and clean and quiet. The on site breakfast sandwiches were AWESOME. I am a sammich guy and a breakfast guy….. for coming out of a food truck, this sammich was so good. Kudos to them. I highly recommend staying here. Only complaint is very minimal, our room was on the bottom floor and there are homes right across the street blocking some of the ocean view. But that’s it. Room to the right or on the third floor would have solved that. Beach access is literally right there and it’s a HUGE beach full of flat sand .

“I’m a bit of a cheapskate, and this was our splurge hotel for the trip. I’m so glad we did it. We paid extra for an ocean view, and although you can’t sit on your balcony, you can open the door and smell and hear the ocean all night long. You can walk to the massive beach across the street and hunt for agates. You are next-door to the lighthouse that has tide pools if you go at the right time. They have wine in the lobby before dinner and the restaurant is surprisingly good. You can sit at the fire pit out back and gaze at the sunset or on the patio at the restaurant looking over the ocean. They have a decent pool, it has adult hours so you can relax after the kids are in bed. I have to admit, I hadn’t had amazing experiences with Best Western before this trip but now I’ve stayed at two in a row that were both really nice. Highly recommend!”
“Beautiful spouting water! Huge sprays cascading over the rocks and raining on all of us standing by the rocky walls. Mesmerizing! Saw license plates from California, Washington, Nevada and Idaho! Really a once-in-a-lifetime scene in Depoe Bay, the Smallest Harbor in the world!”

“I can't say enough good things about the Comfort Inn in Newport, OR. We had a reservation there to spend the night and to attend a wedding on what turned out to be the worst ice storm maybe ever. Almost everyone who was to attend could not get to Newport except the bride (our granddaughter) and groom and another grandfather. Then the city closed the venue where the wedding was supposed to be. The Comfort Inn let us have the wedding in their conference room and saved the day as well as it could be under the circumstances. And besides our room was good and the breakfast was good.”

“Very kind man at the front desk, the rooms are clean and well situated. Other reviews keep mentioning smells. There was a bit of a smell but I only really noticed when I first got there but it wasnt bad at all (my partner didn't notice a smell at all). Free breakfast was limited but lovely.
Walkability: Walked to the beach on the first day and went tide pooling. Very lovely not the most walkable main streets however”

“Location is amazing. The entire venue could use an upgrade. Access to the beach cannot be beat. We were happy to have a dog friendly spot to stay the weekend but the place has seen better days. The ocean views are beautiful. Room was clean, bed was comefortable but the bath….not so inviting.

“I recently stayed at the Econo Lodge in Newport, Oregon, for the Memorial Day weekend and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is excellent, conveniently close to everything, including a short walk to the beach. The staff were exceptionally professional, especially the gentleman who checked us in—he was very accommodating and attentive to our needs.
However, there were a few issues with the room. It was difficult to keep the room cool unless the window was left open, which is scary because I had my kids with me. I wasn't able to figure out how to operate the air conditioning, but there was a fan in the room which helped somewhat. The room key also stopped working a few times in our three day stay but it was replaced. Additionally, I encountered an ant problem; they appeared every time I put food down and were quite pervasive throughout the room.
The room itself was a bit dingy and had a slight odor. Despite these issues, I was happy to have my cash deposit returned promptly upon check-out.
I appreciate the effort of the staff and the great location, but the room's condition and the bug problem need improvement. Thank you for the stay!”

“Lovely place, great staff, and great view. The rooms are a bit small, but they are nice and great if you plan to spend most of your time outside anyways. Also has a pool and hot tub and beach access. Also aparantly some rooms are pet friendly, which is not stated on their website, you have to call and ask.Rooms: Liked that it was a suit type and had privacy for our room/bedNearby activities: Newport, depot bay and Lincoln city are all nearby. So much to do in all of these”
