“I am honest in recommending Buck as a good person and a good business man. He talked me out of purchasing a stove that was too large and too expensive when other salesmen were happy to let me dig an expensive hole. He spent hours talking to me about installation and what kind of stove to get, and even showed up late at night to help me get ready to install it talking me through the process so that I might pinch all my pennies and learn a thing or two installing it myself. “Took our Dyson into Stark’s as it was running hot and not suctioning well. Rick was very helpful, diagnosed the problem and removed debris blocking the intake within a matter of minutes. We were glad we took it in promptly, because it appears we did not burn the motor out, which is great! They didn’t charge us for the service, which was very kind. We will definitely return to Stark’s in the future if we experience any other vacuum issues. 10/10!”

“We are in the middle of a full remodel, we stopped in at Basco because my girlfriend really wanted to see the showroom. So glad we did, we meet Jase and ended up buying everything we needed. The process was very smooth from the purchase to the delivery. The team arrived today within the window of time I was told. The washer/dryer tower needed to go into the basement, no issue for the team. They removed my side access door and had the tower exactly where I wanted it, then put the door back on the hinges. Very satisfied all around, highly recommend!”
“Worked with Jeff at Actual Appliance Repair, which is scheduled by E&M (i.e., call E&M for an appliance fix and they’ll schedule Jeff from Actual Appliance Repair). I honestly cannot give Jeff enough stars. He helped me address issues with two of my refrigerators, including one that took several months to fully fix (not because of Jeff, but because it took forever and several tries for the manufacturer to send the correct replacement part). Jeff’s work not only involved diagnosing and fixing the fridge, but also working with me to order the correct part three times because of mistakes on the manufacturer’s part. Jeff was patient, communicative, flexible, and just incredible nice the entire time, and his pricing was incredibly fair and affordable. I honestly will not work with any other appliance repair person as long as Jeff is working. Scheduling with E&M was always easy as well!”

“I mostly use the garden center, so this review is only for that part of the store. The potted plants here are always healthy and ready for whatever you have in mind. Put them in the ground, in pots, raised beds .... as long as you've done the prep - they're gonna make it. Speaking of prep, they have every variation of miracle grow, but you can reject that hegemony and buy something that isn't mostly chemicals. Organic soil, compost and mulch are available in large quantities. There are organic and specialty fertilizers in out of the way spots. The worm casings are inside, and you can also find fish fertilizer tucked on a shelf. You'll have to walk past a mile of poisons to get there. Seriously. Maybe try some companion gardening to deal with pests instead of nuking everything. And don't get me going on that planet killing weed killer. A tiny bit of scrolling through your pocket library of Alexandria will give you an idea of which plants need more or less light, and if you want an easier way, most of the pots also have qr codes you can scan for specific details on care. Oh, and pots! Lots and lots of pots. The inexpensive plastic ones look just as nice as the others, and they won't break your back to move them once they are full of soil and beautiful growing things. Trellises, wire, bricks, wine barrels, everything. The check out in the garden center is quick and the folks who work there are super nice. Walking away with a cart full of plants and soil is like making an investment in happiness and health. What a great way to find a happy spot in a mean old world.”

He showed us the complete Kohler line of mirrors we were interested in viewing, placed our order, and it arrived two days later. Seeing and handling items in their showroom much nicer shopping experience than just ordering online.

“One of the better large appliance stores in the area. Google Maps has two locations for them. This is the one you want. They offer 3rd party extended warranties but we found it best to deal with the manufacturer for that. Adequate parking in their lot.”

“Your basic Home Depot conveniently located right off the Murrayhill exit on 26, I stop by this location when I'm in the area. It has all the typical departments and layout but somehow it seems easier to get around, not as massive and overwhelming. The store is well organized, shelves are stocked and they typically have what I'm looking for whether that's ant killer, cleaning products, lighting, garden supplies or hardware. And they always have seasonal items like Christmas, BBQ, and spring-fall, annuals, perrenials, shrubs and trees. Plus garden soil, planters and supplies. The indoor houseplant section is also nice and they always have a varied selection. Succulents, bromeliad, pathos, ferns, snake plants, cactus - I've bought it all! My entire plant selection is thriving and I've only had one plant that didn't do well and they exchanged it no questions asked. Most stores don't reimburse you for plants because they have no idea if it was cared for properly. The fact that they gave me a new pothos made me a happy and return customer.”

“After first going online to confirm items were available for purchase or pickup, I drove to the Home Depot, as it gave time to locate items desired. From the website, a friend and I knew which aisle and bin those items were located. The layout of the store left me wondering why a variety of items weren’t in the general areas of the hanging signs to indicate where the desired items were. Most aisle numbers were obscured from vision, but I am sure the numbering scheme made sense to someone… I caved and asked a staff wearing the orange apron and pointed me to the aisle I was seeking. I went to the area he mentioned, but didn’t find an aisle number on the aisle. It was visible from one direction. I saw a location for the item I desired, but the display and all the items in the corresponding bin were.missing. Checkout was a self-service affair. I mmediately walked to a vacant machine, only to find it non-operational. I walked back out of the self-serve area and saw a line had formed to use the machines that were operational.
Later I went home and queried the items for sale. I was able to get several remaining items , as well as one I.hadn’t previously known about. I ordered the items and they were delivered quickly and for a more reasonable price than I would have paid Home Depot - had they been in stock.”
