“Unique little shop in Multnomah village. All items are handmade by local artists. Tons of handmade jewelry, necklaces, earrings, rings etc. Staff was very kind and helpful. I had to exchange something I had purchased for my wife and it was taken care of without issue. Thank you!”

“This salon came recommended by my sister (a client), and so after moving to Portland I booked a haircut with Jazz -- on a Sunday, no less. She was super sweet and gave me a great cut. I was impressed at how careful she was to make sure that everything was exactly how I wanted. A consummate professional! After discovering that the salon now does color, I booked another appointment with Doyle for partial highlights (I'm trying to lighten my hair color gradually). He did an absolutely amazing job and my hair actually feels better than it did before, very healthy and natural looking. Doyle is a color expert, but also does cuts (he works at salons and fashion shows all over the world, not to mention significant charity work to empower individuals who have faced difficult life challenges). I highly recommend both Jazz and Doyle to anyone who is looking for a fantastic cut and/or color! (I'm sure everyone else at the salon is great, too, but my only experience has been with them, and I already have follow-up appointments booked!)”

“I had so much fun in this adorable boutique! I got a gorgeous set of earrings and a necklace made from labradorite. It’s really special that the shopkeeper herself made the items! And they saw what I seemed to be liking and then brought over a purse they thought I’d like. It was perfect! I don’t usually spend so much at a time but I ended up getting it all (the Black Friday deal helped) cuz it was just what I’d been looking for!”

“This is an excellent thrift store! The atmosphere and item curation are boutique-y, while the prices are very reasonable. When I was browsing it seemed like a majority of items are in the $10-20 range. It's also a wonderful nonprofit. I'll definitely be coming back!”
“Revolvr is great. If you mostly want to be left alone and browse at your own pace, the employees won't pester you. But when you need some assistance, they are there for you. They are kind of the perfect level of attentive for me. And you can try clothes on without a lot of fuss which is great.
One of the big denim attractions here is Naked & Famous / Unbranded. They don't have a LOT of denim (if you are a denim nerd and want more expensive/premium stuff, head over to Self Edge instead; but if you're a denim nerd you already knew that!) but they have a really well-curated selection of menswear/denim. I got myself some of my favorite jeans here and my teen likes their selection of graphic tees.
Also - don't sleep on the sale rack. It is hit or miss due to its' nature but it can have killer deals at times. In the words of Arnold, I'll be back.”

“The people who work here are so nice! I thought I'd take advantage of the no sales tax in Oregon, so I took myself shopping since the Nordstrom near me in OC have very snooty sales associates. Donne gave us the confidence to go with a fabric that we liked, but weren't sure about after only seeing a small swatch. Everyone loved it, including us! The tailoring was impeccable; the dinner jacket and pants fit like a glove. Afterwards, my uncle went out and bought a jacket in a similar color because he liked the look so much.
