“I have utilized numerous compounding pharmacies over the past two decades, both professionally and personally, and I feel compelled to share my experience with Lloyd’s Compounding — they truly stand out as the best! Their team consistently takes the time to thoroughly explain my compounded specialty medications, addressing all my questions regarding how they work, the bases used, and pricing. They are also unique in that they accept my insurance (specifically Providence), making the compounded medications much less expensive. Communication with them is excellent; they promptly respond to texts with any information or updates I need. Additionally, I appreciate their efficient delivery service, with my orders arriving at my doorstep within a week. I am incredibly grateful for such a wonderful compounding pharmacy!”

I get here at 12:22 and they are closed from 12-1. I understand closing for lunch but if I just called you could of told me.”

“I called over the phone to check if my photos were ready. The system had emailed me about 2 minutes after I sent the order. I talked to Angel on the phone. He was very kind and helpful. He was able to check on my order and confirm that it wasn't ready, so I didn't waste my time coming over on the bus. He gave me a more accurate time frame, and I came then. When I came into the store, the photo employee Nick was also kind and helpful as well. The whole experience was so simple and no nonsense. It was such an easy, straightforward transaction from the start to finish. The guy on the phone was nice. The guy in the store was nice. Just no issues, no stress, and my stuff was ready when he said it would be. Over all 10 out of 10 experience.”

“The pharmacy staff is extremely nice. They always have the volume of medication that they need to fill my prescriptions for stiff person syndrome and I was really glad that they were able to get me in for my vaccination. I was having issues doing it online and they printed the paperwork and booked the appointment for me right there at the counter. Of course you can't expect them to do it the same day when they're short-staffed. But the next day I got the best pharmacist that I could hope for to do the prescribed shot and last time somebody did it it burned like no tomorrow. At that point he took his time and did the injection nice and slow. Didn't jam it into the muscles too hard and it was a lot easier this time for that series.”
“I have had 3 children born here one of them being 1lb-12oz yes you read that right one pund 12 ounce on 7-7-04 and She's 20 now and full of life I love this place for 5-6 months it was home. All I did was work shower, hospital stay the night go to work then go to the hospital!!”
“My family has found it difficult in the past few years to find the brand names of medications we need at our normal pharmacy of 20 yrs. They changed to either brands that have horrible side effects from loads of fillers and/or are the size of horse pills. Recently I had to call 4-5 Rx's to locate a suitable brand and enough quantity of a medication that for some reason was suddenly on back-stock order for multiple stores... it was either wait an "unspecified" amount of time, or pay for horse pills that are full of around 90% filler that isn't easy to swallow (one of my kids can't even take them) and all that filler comes with side effects I am personally sensitive to. I have to be really careful with medications or I can experience a host of complications . Thankfully, Bowman's Rx is close and had the right brands and quantities for my family. I always forget they're right here in Hillsdale! We did end up spending more for this necessity, but I don't believe a prescription card was used and the change in pharmacy somehow came with a pre-authorization request to use one of our insurances. Which Bowman's did a great job of communicating about and setting up for next time. Overall the experience was far better than we've been dealing with using other Rx's, where I -just this week- spent 4 hours straight on hold and being hung up on by staff and the phone system, just to refill a script. If you don't have anything holding you back give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised.”

“NewEra has been amazing to work with. I’ve gone to other pharmacies before for my IVF medications claiming they were cheaper and they aren’t by a long shot. NewEra is always hundreds of dollars less than their competitors. I love that when I call I can actually talk to the pharmacist about the medications. I had so many questions and they had a nurse I can talk to as well. Her name was Jenna and did the best education for the meds. It helped ease my anxiety so much!I am definitely going to refer all my friends there and if I ever need to go through IVF again I will always be using them.”
“Im excited to have a local independent pharmacy nearby. They are going through some changes, and had to adjust hours and bring on and train new staff. Apart from those bunps I'm overall happy. Love how many languages they speak! However there's been a couple times where there just felt like a level of disorganization and confusion that had been frustrating. Its happened about 2 times in the 8 months ive been a customer.”

“I’ve lived in the neighborhood for years and I’ve used this pharmacy the entire time. They almost always have the meds I need in stock, and on the off chance it has to be ordered, it’s usually available the next day. They are very friendly and always fill my prescriptions ASAP. I always know when my prescriptions are ready for pick up, their reminder system is on point. Earlier this year I switched from OHP to private insurance and they helped me navigate that process. I go there for my vaccinations, and again, it’s always been without issue. They are always willing to help me get whatever I need and answer questions. For context, I used Fred Meyer previously and absolutely hated it. They never had my (very common) medication in stock and I went even switched freddys three times and continued to have the same issue. Freddys also overcharged me A LOT for my medications and I never was notified when my scripts were ready. Definitely recommend this place instead.”

“I miss Neal and Twee, I have been Using this pharmacy ever since the store was built and had good luck until last week. I try to sign up for a covid shot and it would not take my entry when I came to the state. I called a store that Friday and the person there said if I come in at 10 they can help me Saturday. I came in at 10 and the pharmacist said I would have to make an appointment, I explained to her what happened and that the person that answered the phone told me to come in at 10. She acted like I was lying to her and it insulted me. I got my shots at Costco with no wait.I have decided to give them another chance.”
“A better option in Portland. Items are better stocked and more options than other stores downtown. Decent selection on clothes at a decent price. Okay selection of electronics but way overpriced on many items. Plenty of parking with easy access. Many options to get here by public transportation or bike as well.”
