“Solid work replacing the front brake pads and rotors on my '13 Subaru Impreza at a decent price. However, beware the upsell.
Their multi-point inspection claimed that I needed new front lower control arms and a replacement wheel bearing — for which they quoted me $3,600. ? I got a 2nd opinion from an independent mechanic who specializes in Subarus; definitely needed a new wheel bearing, but suspension work unnecessary.
On a certain level, I get it. Inspections help limit the shop's liability and they gotta turn a profit. But ALWAYS get a 2nd opinion, especially for repairs you didn't originally come in for.”

He had his heart set on BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3, and our cousin recommended Lovely Tires due to his multiple past experiences with them. When we called we were told they'd pick them up the next day, and we could have them installed the morning after. The price was very fair, and we are so happy with the tires. Bring on the Idaho wilderness!”

“I’ve gone this shop probably over 10 times in the last three years and I always get the best top of Line Service whether it’s a screw in my tire or oil change or new battery!
This is a local family business that has been at that location in the business for nearly I think over 50 years and there are really good salt of the Earth people!
Not only do they provide high-quality service, but they also don’t overcharge and get very fair pricing for all of their services and especially their!
They always help struggling people and do their best to be involved in the community by sponsoring various sports teams!
I also really love the transparency, chill vibe yet professional atmosphere and their willingness to do everything they can to fit you in, as soon as possible!
As a woman, I also feel truly respected and they don’t try to play some weird games and do double talk and dismiss me or treat me like I don’t know anything about mechanical repairs, even though, I don’t know very much about cars however, I always feel like I get a bit of education, but in a non-condescending way when I leave there!
I know right drivers go and get their vehicles inspected there and if there are problems, they will work with you to get them done that works with your budget!
For some reason, whenever drive over unfinished/unpaved roads, I often end up with a screw or nail in my tire and Kelly has repaired them all three times at no cost, which is excellent and then I just go and order them their favorite pizza down at Vinny’s!
I recently needed new tires and I whole whole bunch of mechanical work so I ended up going down to work Kelly the owner is now working down in Milwaukee and once again I had a wonderful and very satisfactory experience and I always feel like my cars are being well taken care of by Kelly and the Browns family in general!
I’ve grown to deeply respect Kelly and Brian and if you’re in need of a no nonsense mechanic and or new tires- I highly recommend visiting or calling this shop!

“If I stated how great the individuals are at Gills on Lombard, you would think I am a shameless conman. Having made it to Los Angeles, CA due to Gills top notch technical services, and honestly their depth of expertise equivocal to engineering, the result is proven at every mile.
To add that the value of expenditure defeats all others in the market, from Valvoline for fluid changes, to dealer, Goodyear, Firestone, to Tony by the shade tree, it is inappropriate not to state a finding of greatness. They cost the least and deliver the most.
Gills individuals are so great, I purchase from them. As is obvious, I know great. I know Gills on Lombard.

“Fast, professional, competitive prices. Industrial tire service has taken me immediately to repair tire leaks, and replaced TPMS sensors that I supplied. Even though I have warranty with Costco, Costco repeatedly had long wait/scheduling problems and refused to fix 3 leaks in a row, claiming they were "too close to side wall" or couldn't find them. After I took the same leaks to ITS, they fixed them up no problem and I'm rolling out within an hour. Not going to give business to anyone else as long as I can make it here.”
“I highly recommend Superior Tire. After getting a nail in my tire with less than 5k miles on them, I initially took it into a different tire repair, where they patched it. However, they also told me there was a chunk out of the bead on the tire, but it should still be okay. After the repair, my tire was still leaking air!
My guess is, the guys patching it accidentally took a chunk out of the tire when they were removing it. They blamed it on the initial installers of the tire but it would've always been leaking if that was the case. Disappointed, I looked elsewhere and a buddy of mine (Jimmy) recommended Superior Tire & Service.
They took me in very late in the day and did everything they could to see if they could save the existing tire. I ended up asking them to just replace it due to the bead issue. They did an excellent job installing the new one and they cleaned my old tire so I could keep it. (I asked for it in case I desperately needed a spare.) They even torqued my wheels back on to spec. I am very appreciative of their attention to detail.
Now for the best part. The price! For the same tire and amount of work, Les Schwab quoted me wayyyy more than Superior Tire. So I got better service at a better price! Safe to say I will be coming back and I will always recommend people here. Thank you so much Superior Tire & Service!”
