“I recently stayed at this hotel, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience in every way.
Rooms:
The room was incredibly spacious, modern, and spotless. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. I appreciated the attention to detail, from the high-quality toiletries to the plush towels and crisp linens. The room also had a beautiful view, which made relaxing after a long day even more enjoyable. The temperature control was perfect, and the room was always quiet, providing a restful environment for sleep.
Service:
The service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure I felt comfortable and taken care of. Check-in was quick and easy, and any request I had was promptly attended to. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping the room neat.
Location:
The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore local attractions, restaurants, and shops. We were staying because the hospital was nearby and had an extended stay at this hotel.... Public transportation is conveniently nearby, but I found walking around to be just as pleasant. The hotel offered valet parking or street parking was available as well. It’s a nice, clean area, so despite being centrally located, I enjoyed a peaceful stay.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would choose to stay here again!”
“Nordia HouseHome of Ollie Bollie the troll.Famous troll artist Thomas Dambo brings his creation to Portland and Nordia House is the location.In addition to Ollie Bollie, Nordia House has beautiful grounds to walk and wonderful exhibits inside .Be sure to check out the cafe with a slice of Nordic cuisine and drink. The fresh daily soups are fantastic and the charcuterie plate has many delightful items to fill you up.”

“Amazing! Perfect night out for our Mother's Day group of 3 generations! Pre-sketches of the pet portraits were well done, instruction was clear and friendly, atmosphere was relaxed. The price was reasonable for the event and drinks were quality. I am so happy with my painting! I wasn't sure how the blacklight colors would turn out but the final product was an awesome surprise!”
“I really liked the staff, location, view and sound of the Alberta Rose Theater. The two bathrooms are the only negative thing about the place. Beverage service was fast and prices are fair. Selection is good. Nearby restaurants and food trucks offer a wide variety of ethnic foods at reasonable price. Parking available in nearby neighborhoods.”
“Located in Portland's NE Downtown City Center. Easily reachable by the Max, Portland Street Car or your own vehicle with parking facilities on site and nearby. Several hotels, motels, and many other lodging options within walking distance. The Oregon Convention Center is a great place to take in the many events like the 2024 International Auto Show, Comic Con, or a host of other popular and large business and fan events.”

Update- still a great spot to go watch movies, my chair functioned and the family was happy. ?????

“We love Hammer & Jacks! We adore Jillian. She has been a huge part of our lives ever since she welcomed us in for a new parent support group back in 2018. Not only was her vision of becoming a community hub and staple something that I could get behind as a FTM but over the years all of her support in helping to get my littles through their developmental milestones with thoughtful toy and activity recommendations have been invaluable!She also was LIFESAVER during the pandemic, doing toy and balloon deliveries and truly bringing love and light into our home. But since the new location opened with all the fun activities (our favorites being Toddler Art and Books & Bubbles) and playscape, our littlest human has grown to wake up Wednesday mornings to ask for "toy store & bagels"-- his idea of the perfect day.If you are looking for a wealth of knowledge on toy recommendations and fun ways to reimagine play... shop local and stop in and visit Hammer & Jacks!”
“I'm surprised I haven't reviewed here before. This is such a fun spot to try out some beers from breweries nearish and far that don't really distribute much here. The staff is always friendly and real beer nerds which is fun. Lots of cozy spaces downstairs and upstairs (new as of last week) to hang out solo with a group. It's near lots of stuff to so the perfect place for a before or after meal beverage. Note: The upstairs area has its own bar with a few separate taps and a lot more to-go beer.”
“It’s okay, we go here to see our kid perform. It’s kind of dark and divey and cold. There aren’t a lot of places to sit. Not super kid friendly and the unisex bathrooms are unique to say the least. Been to better, but what choice do we have? I guess if I visited to see a grown up thing, I would be more impressed.”
“Hands down one of the best spots around! The Wine Cellar has such a killer vibe—warm, inviting, and just the right mix of classy and chill. The wine selection is super impressive, and the event space? Total game-changer. Mandy, Kendra, and the whole crew are absolute gems. They’ve created something really special here. “We recently adopted Prada & Gucci from King Rabbit MicroSanctuary. It was an awesome experience. The bunnies are so loved and cared for there, Michele was very helpful. I would highly recommend adopting a bunny from here!”
“I've been to a few events here and they obviously have a great logistics team because the show always goes on and has few hiccups. My last attendance was for the Fuji to Hood beer festival and it was so very well attended that seasoned vendors were amazed, but it still went smoothly.”

“Stopped in for coffee and treats mid-morning. It was fantastic! The barista, RJ, was AMAZING, the coffees were so good and the cookies we tried were the BEST we've had! Those should be shipped out of state for those of us who now crave them. ;-) Highly recommend.

“I just can't say enough how much fun we had at The Hallowed Halls! Deanna, Justin, and their team really made the experience flow so smoothly and comfortably for us. We had our pre-wedding welcome party here a couple weeks ago and out of the whole process, this was one of the easiest parts of our whole wedding. There was plenty of room for our guests to mingle, dance, eat, drink, and enjoy all the cool nooks and crannies of the space. So many thank yous to the team!”
“The best place for a kid’s birthday party!! We had our 4yo’s party here; they helped us plan a perfectly age-appropriate agenda and provided just enough structure to keep things moving along with plenty of excitement and fun. We got so many compliments from other parents about what an enjoyable party it was. Can’t recommend enough!!”

“I have had the priviledge of working with Kelly & Aaron and attending many events at their Unique Urban Venue. It's always a fun time! I love that they have created a space where you can bring your own personal vision life. There bar service is amazing! And I love that they facilitate the rentals. Such a huge help when planning an event. I highly recommend you check them out for your next event.

“Fun place for the family to go . Food was actually pretty good and reasonable priced . The have beer also if that's your style . Took a little to get the bumpers figured out , you have to ask there isn't a button on the controller like other places .
Lock your car and hide your stuff the neighborhood isn't the best anymore but the facility is nice”
“The facility was clean, spacious and simply well decorated.The staff was attentive and friendly.Parking was a chore. The neighborhood is unpleasant and industrial. There were many unsightly RV homes parked near the venue.I am not sure how safe this neighborhood is at night.”
