“To those of you who are whining about Phill I have purchased from him for many years at the various wholesalers he has worked for. what you are calling rudeness and poor customer service was probably your own fault for misunderstanding his sometimes dry sense of humor or you could have just been a bit of a j**** I cant count the number of times Phill has gone to bat for me when I had a problem and the same goes for all of the counter staff. and no if you are not a licenced contractor they WILL FOLLOW company policy and not sell to you. The same goes for any other supplier in town. This protects their reputation when the average fix- it myself homeowner screws something up and burns his house down. And yes when I have a return I also have to justify it which is as it should be. In summery these are a great set of people who are respectful and honest, also if you want to buy wholesale get a licence like the rest of us had to.”

“Glowing review for our kitchen design by Debra Boles. She made our dream kitchen come true! She listened to our needs, thoughtfully applied her extensive knowledge in ways we could never have thought of, and put a lot of effort into custom elements that were quite unusual and challenging. She helped us squeeze every inch of usable space out of our small kitchen, and somehow, not only is the kitchen more usable, it feels bigger. A couple inches here and there and a smooth workflow made all the difference.
She truly cared about our kitchen and was invested not only in the design, but in the final outcome as well. When a few issues arose during installation, she and her excellent team members made everything right without friction. Actually, certain elements ended up looking better than we initially planned, so even issues turned out to be benefits in the end.
The end result? Absolutely beautiful! It functions better in the layout, is easy to clean, and everything works smoothly. The cabinets are solidly constructed Kemper cabinets with a gorgeous finish.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Debra Boles and the team at Parr Lumber to anyone. Her warmth and expertise made the upheaval of a kitchen remodel more of a pleasure than I could have ever anticipated. I won't say that living in a house without a kitchen is *fun,* but with Debra to hold our hand through it, the process was a matter of patience, not tears, and the result was well worth it!

I always feel a bit guilty returning a large quantity of items, especially when they're heavy and cumbersome. Emily remained positive the entire time. “Yet again, I appreciate ACE Hardware! Other stores (the big boxes) you just never know if you'll run into someone that cares, has any knowledge at all (even sharing what they hear from customers), etc. But at ACE, at least this one, it's difficult NOT to have someone offer help finding things, advice (or find someone they know might be more knowledgeable), etc. It's just a great experience every time! Do they cost more? A little bit (but not always), but it's worth it!
I almost bought a new grill online for pickup today, but then backed off. Wanted to sleep on it. When I went to pick up some other stuff I'd ordered for pickup, I chatted with a salesperson about the pros and cons of the grill I was looking at. He was super friendly, asked what I typically used my grill for, and provided me with information about best uses for what I currently have and what I was pondering. It validated my reasons for waiting and he thanked me for my current purchase and assured me there would be another sale if I changed my mind.
There's a trust I have with this ACE, as odd as that might sound. Maybe I go there too often (probably average once a month?) but I kind of feel like friends and family when I interact with the employees. Patient, kind, not rushing you or trying to sell you things, good old fashioned customer service!”
