“Such a cute place! I spent about an hour just looking at vintage furniture, plants, and to get ideas for my house. I didnt make a purchase because they are pretty expensive. Small parking lot. You can park on the street but 12th st is very busy so be careful crossing!”
“This store never disappoints. After a hard day, I find myself here often for retail therapy. The prices are fair, and the Christian music is uplifting & soothing. If something seems too expensive, no worries, next week it will be on sale(typically).”
“Great experience! I recently purchased a new mattress and while I hope it lasts for many years, I will absolutely return to BedMart if I need another bed. Hugo was professional and patiently answered my questions. I was confident with my choice, but after about a week I decided my new mattress was a little too firm. I returned today and received the same great customer service. Hugo and his colleague were kind and even tried clear the snow and ice by my car while I paid. I highly recommend this store and look forward to my replacement mattress tomorrow.”
“This is my favorite vintage store in downtown Salem. Christine is so friendly and always on hand to help look for specific things (orange dress for a wedding? She has a dozen options.) or she'll let you browse or she loves to just chat.
This shop feels welcoming because Christine owns and operates it. She has costumes and stuff to wear for everyday. She rotates her stock for the seasons. Nothing reeks of a thrift store: what a nice change to try on stuff that doesn't stink of urine/cleaning products! She's happy to shop for a specific thing you need while she sources. And she has a fashion show every April that you can watch or model in-- sounds fun to me!”
“I absolutely love this store!!! The environment is so clean and inviting. The owner is always behind the counter working, she is incredibly sweet! Everything is put together so effortlessly, it’s not too crowded or over decorated. They have a ton of local artists and crafters as well as vintage items! There is a ramp, elevator and stairs, to use. They are very accommodating for mobility. It’s definitely a must, add it to your thrifting rotation! They have lots of events and pop up surprises, follow them on fb and instagram for updates!”

The products, on the other hand, were a hit an' miss. Some products were high quality, yet others were not.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Salem's Homegoods.”

“This is the fourth countertop job The Marble Center has done for us over the years, and without exception, each job was done with professionalism and attention to detail. Their installation crews are skilled craftsmen who obviously take pride in their work. It was late when they were wrapping up but they didn't cut corners on the finishing touches that needed to be done for a quality job. “I came here for the first time in many, many years and it’s still just as cute as I remember! Are you looking for felted finger puppets, earrings, hedgehog socks, bicycle shaped pizza cutters, drums, spice grinders, or just a quirky llama keychain? Probably not, but once you walk in, you’ll definitely want them ALL!! This is a place that’s worth visiting again and again because you can’t possibly see everything in just one visit. Also, the customer service is great :)”

Not gonna lie, customer service messed up big time, they cancelled my order and almost made me lose a big discount I got when I first purchased the bed. But Ali completely stepped up, took ownership, and helped me through every step to fix the issue. Even though the store itself hadn’t made any mistake, he still made it right, calling his higher-ups to make sure I got my discount back. ??
After a bit of waiting for delivery, I can honestly say it was worth it, I’m going to sleep amazing tonight in my new bed! ? And a big shoutout to the delivery team too, they were super friendly and helpful.

So sometimes you might find exactly what you were looking for, and other times you may find something else on your list you weren't expecting to pop up....it keeps you coming back for more.Also, their home goods selection isn't bad for the size of the store...
