“The property manager, Ruby, is a wonderful and kind person. I initially had a ROUGH experience here but I’ve since learned that it was only because I had to deal with corporate. The actual people working here are very kind and very helpful! But GO IN to deal with issues if one pops up, don’t call corporate. I also recommend going in person if you plan on renting a unit, they are able to help determine the actual size you need and get you the best rate for it. Calling corporate and using only the app seems to give you a few of the options and fewer deals. I’m glad I talked with the local store though. Fully turned my bad review into a good review.”

“Cat was extremely helpful in walking me through the process of renting a storage unit at free up storage. It was my first time in dealing with an online information kiosk. Knowing that, Cat was very methodical and patient dealing with a newbie. She knew I was nervous about the process and used humor to help me relax and stay on task. I couldn't have asked for more helpful person to walk me through the process… She deserves all accolades she receives. Joel Woodman New customer”

“Every time I’ve interacted with Kim Rosario she has been great to work with. I originally set up the account for my mother and when she passed Kim expertly guided me through the transfer of the unit into my name. I always know I can count on Kim when I need assistance…and she always provides it with a smile. In addition to the ease of access to the unit and the well cared for facility, the reason I would recommend Gateway Storage: Kim Rosario! She’s the best!”

“I could not be happier with this place. I’m unsure of their names but I have met 2 ladies and 1 guy and they are all fantastic people. The lady that did my move in was just closing up for the day when I arrived (after closing) and she happily let me in and got me taken care of. My unit was clean and odor free upon move in. I am paying exactly 1/3 of the price I was paying at public storage for a bigger unit! Including insurance! Literally blew my mind how much I was overpaying. Customer service here is far superior to the other place. The guy is really nice and friendly when I come pay my rent. The young lady is my hero, she stayed late for me so I wouldn’t get a late fee. I can’t say enough good things about the business. Best bang for your buck, period. Rock on!”

“I had a great experience at Cherry Storage. I had a storage unit opened for three months while we were in the process of moving houses. Tony got me setup, and made the process from open to close seamless and easy. Over the past few months I got to interact with the staff and everyone was very professional and friendly to work with. My unit was a huge 10 x 20. Id come back here if I need storage services again.”

“Storing my daughter's car while she is abroad from college! Cheaper and better for the car than driving all the way home and back in the middle of winter and I feel safer for her in a 24/7 secured location than parking in front of her house on the street. Easy, safe, and inexpensive ...can't go wrong!”

“I've been a customer at Salem Self Storage - South for over two years, and I honestly couldn't be happier with my experience. Finding a storage facility you can truly trust is rare, but this place has consistently exceeded my expectations. The property is always clean, well-maintained, and secure. I have complete confidence that my belongings are safe, and that peace of mind is priceless. It's obvious the facility is managed with care and professionalism. I also want to give a special shout-out to Kelly. She is absolutely incredible. Every interaction with her has been friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. She goes above and beyond to make customers feel valued, and her kindness and attention to detail are a big part of why I've remained a loyal customer for so long. Great employees can make all the difference, and Kelly is one of those rare people who truly cares. If you're looking for a storage facility that combines excellent security, a spotless property, fair pricing, and outstanding customer service, I wholeheartedly recommend Salem Self Storage - South. After more than two years as a customer, I wouldn't hesitate to choose them again.”

“Delania was super helpful and friendly today, when I went in for a storage unit. She was very attentive and was willing to answer any and all questions I had. The process from start to finish was super easy. And she definitely makes sure she goes over the rules of the grounds so there is definitely no confusion about what's what which is great! I also got to meet her husband and he is just as friendly as she is. He was super helpful as well. No sooner did I pick out a unit he was on it to make sure it was cleaned out and ready for when we moved in. Both are super friendly and helpful and I would definitely rent from them again.”

Owners are committed to offering a safe place to store your items at a cost that doesn't break the bank. Great communication and response time, (even in off hours!). They are typically full but if a spot is open, snatched it up because odds are it will go fast!”

“Very good facility and great prices with newly added security. Would give it 5 but it would need some covered stalls and trickle charging to get that added star. Other than that, perfect for what we needed close to Salem.”
