I had a custom suit designed and tailored to my specifications, size and shape for an upcoming wedding.
I experienced some frustrations specifically with regard to the time I was told it would take versus the time it actually took. However, my dress shirt, trousers and jacket were all overnighted to my destination just in time for the wedding in a state that was perfectly acceptable for the occasion.
Minor finishing touches (functional sleeve buttons) and alterations were needed after the fact but the slight imperfections were not something one would notice without a closer inspection.
In the end, they were very dedicated to ensuring that I was accommodated for the minor error and that I exited the process very happy and ultimately they accomplished this.
My only advice is that best practice includes leaving just a little extra breathing room to account for any complications that may turn up during the tailoring process. We are all only human, after all.
I am happy with the outcome and I will be doing business with them again in the future. Well done to the both of you.

“I came to the Newberg area for a girls getaway weekend when I realized, after a 3.5 hour drive, that I forgot to grab my hangers with all of my dresses and skirts for the weekend when packing up my car. The hostess at the winery recommended this shop to me so I hurried over. The sales staff were incredibly helpful. Even though I wear a larger size than they usually carry, they were able to find 2 outfits for me to wear that weekend. “Hey, just want to pass on big time kudos to store manager Kimber of the Tigard, OR store in Bridgeport Village mall.
I visited the store looking for a Lodge shirt, but then started talking with Kimber about Sir Pendleton shirts. I still wear the one I purchased 30-40 years ago, and still keep an eye out for them. Knowing how scarce they are, Kimber took it upon herself to check the entire system, and found seven. She offered to order two sizes for me as I was between a Large and an XL and have them shipped to the Bridgeport location. I was visiting my son and his wife and we had to start our return trip before the shirts arrived, but Kimber offered to ship them to my home as soon as she received them
When they arrived at her store on a Friday, Kimber must have immediately put them in the mail to me because they arrived in California on Monday afternoon. Talk about staying on top of the situation! Thanks so much for the fantastic customer service...as topnotch as the Pendleton quality. By the way, I kept both shirts.”

“This place is one of the few thrift stores that have actual thrift prices! Most items are around $5-$10 while there are a few that is a bit higher price. Large selection of jewelry as well. The lovely owner is always so nice and I love saying hi to her pets too! Be sure to bring cash cuz its a cash only place!”

“I had the best clothes buying experience of my life at this store. The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, they go above and beyond to provide a great buying experience. Will was an absolute delight and was able to expertly fit me with a shirt size that, for the first time in my life, fits like a glove. The store did not have the exact design I wanted, but he managed to locate it elsewhere and have it shipped out to me, even though it was discontinued. There was no need to work that hard to get me what I needed, and yet, he did. Incredible service.”

“My boyfriend and I have stopped by a few times while browsing Washington Square Mall and had a good experience here. They had a good selection of equipment and clothing from which to choose. I like the quality of the jackets and footwear; however, all of it can be a bit pricey. There are more affordable options hidden in the store, though, and if you're lucky, you can stumble across a sale. First time I was here, I ended up really eyeing some booties they had. Unfortunately, they did not have my size of the color I wanted in stock at store. The sales associate was pretty friendly and informed me that I could get the shoes in a couple days by ordering through the store's iPad and she could get me free two-day shipping for the same price, which I did. My boots came in three days, but they're so worth it, they're comfortable and I'll be walking around town in them for sure. I came back to get my partner the same boots for Christmas a couple of months later and they let me go through the same process.”

The associates were attentive, whether it was entering the store, fitting room to the cash wrap. I was easily able to find what I was looking for .The selection was great too. “Fast friendly service. My dress for my son's wedding needed alterations, it was done at Sherwood Tailoring. Changes in the length and taking in some on the sides. In addition to alterations to the brides gown, made it easy for her to get in and out of her reception gown for the wedding reception. Also my husband also needed his jacket tailored to fit him better due to weight loss it finally fit him wonderfully. Thank you for making us look amazing on the day.”
