“I put off renovating our home for over a decade because I was intimidated by the enormity of the process. From the first meeting with Kathie at Maughan Design and Remodel, I knew I was in good hands.
Ours was a large job involving a complete overhaul of the kitchen, new plumbing throughout the house, sewer work, new hardwood floors, lighting upgrades, updated laundry room, updated TV room, patio redesign, and more. Having lived in this house for almost 30 years, it was hard to envision how it could be changed. Kathie did a thorough job of identifying my concerns. The solutions she and her team came up with were creative, stylish, and fit within my budget.
Her crew is professional, considerate, and courteous. They were respectful of ourselves and our belongings. They pay great attention to detail, and the quality of their work is uniformly superb. Cabinetry and paint work exceeded my expectations. They attend to small things that help smooth the process of living through a major renovation. For example, they made a point of cleaning up the worksite at the end of each work day. That made the construction disorder easier to bear. She holds her subcontractors to the same high standards as her crew.
Communications were quick and clear. When questions, problems, or changes came up (because they inevitably do) they were handled quickly to our complete satisfaction.
Thanks to Kathie and her team, we now have a home that brings us great joy.

“Purchased an Olive Link from Kershaw site that had a funny noise. Brought it in to the Warranty-Sharpening desk at Factory in Tualatin. They acknowledged the problem but they don't do returns there, just warranty work and sharpening. One of the guys there was nice enough to bring me to the front desk and the issue was resolved by the very nice receptionist in 60 seconds. That is why I keep buying from Kershaw.”
