303 E C St, SilvertonStopped in at Los Girasoles in Silverton between jobs because it looked like a nice little spot. The place is simple but clean, with plenty of space to sit comfortably.
I ordered a torta—one of my go-to items when it’s done right. It was okay, but nothing memorable. I was expecting more flavor and that classic toasted bread that gives a torta the right texture and depth.
That said, the pastries looked really good, and the location is great. I’m not trying to be harsh—I just think they can step it up if they want to deliver a more authentic Mexican experience. I’d come back and try something else.

Both were wonderful--I like a dark beer, but am not a fan of 'over-flavored' darks. No dessert flavors in my glass, please! We also had a cup of clam chowder and an order of fish and chips--both were flavorful and not too heavy! We will be back next time we are passing through...

Such a lovely atmosphere, the vibe is relaxed but with the sparkle of vintage chandeliers. This is a new favorite spot and we can't wait to come back.
