We recently relocated to Oregon from Hawai'i and Lio is leisurely enjoying his stay while we househunt. Jack is a kind and humane caregiver who clearly adores each of his charges. We couldn't recommend Country Kitty Kondos more. Two paws up!?

The various level of treatment plans were laid out for the client in a way that allowed choices to be made without feeling judged or pressured. Thank you for explaining everything so thoughtfully. Horses visited for infections, new horse wellness exam, fertility insight, dental, etc. Family like treatment!

Tacos El Oso Loco
1008 North Springbrook Road, NewbergShut Up and take my Money! A bacon wrapped burrito? The first bite and I get that crispy bacon wrapped around my Al Pastor burrito. Just a tiny bit of pineapple came out to play with that bacon and it was over for me! It is literally a battle for my brain between enjoy the flavorful bite and wanting the experience of taking another bite.
It was at this point when I realized I had made a tragic mistake in the order I enjoyed my items. I left the street dog alone in the container while I enjoyed the Loco Burrito. When I did finally attempt to pick up the Street Dog, the bun had lost 90% of its structural integrity. But I powered through the soggy bun and this Street Dog was absolutely amazing! The peppers were spicy without turning my mouth into a flamethrower. The flavor of the peppers and onions played well with that bacon wrapped giant hot dog.
Lesson learned, Street Dogs first than everything else!

Penner-Ash Wine Cellars
15771 Northeast Ribbon Ridge Road, NewbergWe spent a week with another couple in Willamette Valley tasting wines at 20 different wineries, and Penner-Ash was definitely one of our top three favorite tastings!
The weather was perfect for us to enjoy tasting wine on the deck in the sunshine and with beautiful views of the winery and surrounding mountains. Our host Joseph was very knowledgeable about each wine presented, and answered all of our questions with ease. To top off the experience, we purchased an additional bottle of wine to enjoy with our picnic lunch in the grove at the winery. We enjoyed so many of the wines that we decided to have some shipped home, which arrived a few days after we returned, in perfect condition. If you are planning a trip to Willamette Valley wine tasting, this is a place that represents superb Oregon wines (12 single vineyards Pinot's, as well as great Sauvignon Blanc and Rose) and should be on everyone's list!

Anderson Family Vineyard truly is special place where the wine is front and center. A gem in the region.
Cliff and Allison felt like family within 20 minutes. We gladly spent hours there tasting, talking, and learning.
On top of all that, their prices are more than fair. You get access to several years worth of library with nothing but the finest.
I'll probably be a member as long as they are still in business.

Likewise, the tasting room manager, Charles, was very knowledgeable about the entire Oregon wine industry and made our tasting here memorable.
