From the moment you arrive, the panoramic views of the Willamette Valley take your breath away. Perched high in the Dundee Hills, the tasting room offers a sophisticated, rustic atmosphere that remains warm and inviting. The windows are seemingly endless so the interior is never lacking in views. Nevertheless, there is a very pleasant terrace should you want to be outside.
The Wines
The quality here is undeniable. Knudsen is legendary for their Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and the tasting flight beautifully showcases their commitment to elegance and terroir. Each pour was balanced, expressive, and truly reflective of the high-elevation site. Jeff did an amazing job explaining the wines and showing us exactly where they came from.
The Ruling
We were impressed by the majority of the wines we sampled. As is always the case - everyone’s palate is different, but if you don’t find something to suit you here, you probably won’t find it anywhere else.

I also had fun talking to some of the other tables that came to visit their lovely smaller tasting room that looks Northeast I believe and gives you a great vineyard view. Some very nice wines and reasonably prices. Strongly recommend them.

Argyle Winery
691 OR-99W, DundeeWe spent two days at Argyle and joined the membership on day one, that's how good it was. The bubbles pulled us in first, but the still wines are what sealed it. The Spirit Hill wines weren't spooky at all, bold yet courteous, and honestly, they blew me away.
Mark hosted us on day one and Luke on day two, and both were fantastic. Their library was beautiful and genuinely fun to browse. The whole space feels less like a traditional tasting room and more like a great wine bar, with the atmosphere to match the wines.
5 out of 5, easily. Highly recommend.

110 OR-99W, DundeeMy husband and I wanted to have a late lunch and found this gem on our way back to the hotel.The food was fabulous and fresh. I want to mention in particular our server. He was also, I believe, the bar manager, who went beyond the call in every way. He demonstrated great knowledge in all aspects of the food, wine, and spirit industry. He was kind, and spent a lot of time just talking with us. One of the best experiences on our trip. I had mentioned to him about costs of bourbons being high in Florida (allocated) and he asked if we were familiar with those in Oregan? So, I asked him to bring what he would recommend. It was beyond my expectation, however, difficult to find. It was only at a local winery/distillery. Thank you to all staff that made our visit one to remember. We hope to be back.

Torii Mor Winery
18323 NE Fairview Dr, DundeeFirst stop in the wine country of Willamette Valley since arriving from Florida to taste the best Pinot Noirs was Torii Mor Winery. A little off the beaten path but what fabulous wines! The wine maker Jon was there which made this visit extra special, as we heard what care they put into producing these gems. So excited about bringing bottles home with us, to savor later. Wines fly free, yeah!
