“On 9/1/22 a wildfire shut down a 60 mile stretch of I-84 from Pendleton to Idaho. The only way over was down 395 towards John Day and over 26 to Ontario. A route with NOTHING. I mean nothing but cows, steep curves and no reception. These guys stayed open late (normally close at 11, but stayed open well past that) to provide food, gas, and RESTROOMS to weary travelers just trying to make it through. Pretty impressive food selection for a minimart. But I'd give 6 stars if I could for the crew.”

“My son and I stopped in just to get refreshments, and upon looking at the menu, I decided to go ahead and get the fireman pizza, I must say that it was one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. Great, and friendly staff.”
