“5 stars for the Sunoco on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Bedford, PA! This is one of the better service plaza stops along the turnpike and a great place for both travelers and truck drivers to recharge during a long trip. The entire plaza was clean, organized, and easy to navigate, making it a stress-free stop right off the highway.
The fuel area was well maintained with plenty of room to get in and out quickly, and the pumps were running smoothly with no long wait. Inside, the convenience store was fully stocked with drinks, snacks, coffee, hot food options, and travel essentials. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean for such a busy travel plaza, which always makes a huge difference when you’re on the road for hours.
One thing that really stood out was how efficient and friendly the staff were. Even with a steady flow of customers, everything moved quickly and the employees kept the location looking great. There were also plenty of seating areas to relax, stretch, and take a short break before getting back on the road.
Whether you’re driving across Pennsylvania, hauling freight, or just stopping during a family road trip, this Sunoco service plaza is a dependable and convenient stop. Clean facilities, easy access, good food and drink options, and excellent overall upkeep make this a place I’ll definitely stop at again when traveling the Pennsylvania Turnpike. ⛽?☕”
“This store is amazing I love the morning staff they are always so happy and helpful. But the evening staff needs to work on manors and smiling more every time I stop there they look grumpy and don’t even say hi how are you doing today or have a great evening! I don’t know about anyone else but those 2 phrases can make a person’s day!!”

“I have no idea what people are talking about when they post 1/5 star ratings for Shell. Their gas is amazing (only thing I run through my car). Subway inside so you can grab a meal while you’re there. Decent parking space, and they have a car cruise-in some Saturdays (Shell cruise-in schedules located in the events sections in AutoConnection magazines). Don’t really expect much from the cashiers... Just expect what you would expect from a gas station cashier.”

“If you want to fuel your vehicle and your body, this is your stop. I always stop here on my trips between Tennessee and central Pennsylvania. The freshly made food selection is very good, reasonably priced, and wide selection, along with a good variety of prepackaged foods. Other products are average price for the area. The bathrooms are always clean, and the staff are very polite and friendly.”
