“I was charmed that this rest stop had a history and souvenir mementos about the PA Turnpike, so I got to learn as I ate quickly. But look, it had nice clean bathrooms, Roy Rogers (which was quick, good chicken tenders, and many sauces/topping ready to customize), and Auntie Anne's (dough was a little sweet, but they did have someone making the dough right in front so it seemed like good quality). and a Sbarros (which I didn't try but looked like a good version of one of those) and a Starbucks for those caffeine needs. It was a cozy and helpful stop along my route and if you are one to note your pit stops, consider this one.”

But the evening staff needs to work on manors and smiling more every time I stop there they look grumpy and don’t even say hi how are you doing today or have a great evening! “I have no idea what people are talking about when they post 1/5 star ratings for Shell. Their gas is amazing (only thing I run through my car). Subway inside so you can grab a meal while you're there. Decent parking space, and they have a car cruise-in some Saturdays (Shell cruise-in schedules located in the events sections in AutoConnection magazines). Don't really expect much from the cashiers... Just expect what you would expect from a gas station cashier.”

There’s also lots of choices for hot and cold meals. There are no showers at this time. I hope they get added in the near future. The showers added and existing positive points would make this a hard truck stop to pass up. Come to Bedford instead of Breezewood, no paying for parking or pot holes here at Rutter’s”
