But the staff knows exactly what they’re doing. My child had a wonderful time. I could fully relax, knowing that she was safe and happy there.

537 E Pitt St, BedfordThis place was great! We were swinging through town and found this place was open as late as we needed it to be. Pub style food that was oh so good! Drinks were also delicious (though I didnt have whiskey) The portions on appetizers are definitely big enough for sharing! Our server was great and patient with us (as it took an extra couple minutes to ensure that some of our food was vegetarian friendly).The bathrooms were clean and nice as well! Picture of food was actually taken after we were full!

It’s obviously a neighborhood staple, which is always a great sign; it’s the kind of place where you can count on the service being fast, the food being fresh, and the prices staying affordable. Definitely worth a stop!

Crystal Room at the Omni Bedford Springs
2138 Business 220, BedfordSusan, our server greeted us warmly and brought us water and bread. She then gave us the first course which was a small rice cake with cucumber and salmon on it, it was delicious. My husband had the chicken and I had the filet. Everything was cooked to perfection. The accompanying mashed potatoes, asparagus, and tomatoes and mushrooms were delicious. As it was my birthday, Susan brought out a piece of cake with a candle in it. A delicious end to a lovely evening. We have been to this restaurant several times and love the ambiance, service, food and open kitchen that you can observe the chef cooking your meal.

The Bedford County Humane Society stands out as a truly exceptional rescue organization. Having adopted and fostered numerous dogs over the years with both my own and my wife's family, we've interacted with humane societies and shelters across many states, including DC, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and North Carolina. Among them, the Bedford organization consistently ranks as one of the best.
They've assisted us in various situations, and our most recent experience truly highlighted their dedication. We found a dog wandering on the road and immediately contacted them for help. Their communication was excellent; they quickly instructed us to bring the dog in and began efforts to locate the owner. Thanks to their prompt and caring action, the dog was reunited with its owner almost instantly. While it was a happy outcome, what truly impressed us was how incredibly helpful and communicative the staff at the Humane Society were throughout the entire process. They genuinely cared about achieving a positive result and made every effort to keep us informed.
