“I had such a great experience at Alido’s—especially thanks to the incredibly kind and patient staff. I had a $500 order, and when I went to run my card, it flagged as fraud. After approving it, I tried again but it still wouldn’t go through. It was all I had on me, so I had to call my husband to PayPal me the money. I was so flustered and honestly embarrassed, but the cashier was unbelievably calm, kind, and never once showed any frustration. They were so patient and understanding, and that made a stressful moment so much easier. Huge kudos to the staff—you truly made a difference in my day!”

“This is a great local grocery store! Prices are a little on the high side, but if you look for the deals, it is affordable. Because of the size, maybe some limitations on brands or types of food, but generally speaking you can find anything you want for day-to-day needs.”
“A lot cheaper than our giant eagle n has better sales..i used to always shop at giant eagle, NOT NOW!! i would rather drive further away and come here!!.oh and for parents who have toddlers, they have tiny shopping carts for them to push around, which my kids loved using when they were little..the only downfall is sometimes they need to have more registers opened”

“They recently replaced the main sign on the front of the store to bring it up to 2025 Giant Eagle standards.
I have only good things to say about this place. The small sandwich section in the back is reliable. The restrooms for customers are old school: in the back of the store, behind industrial doors, past the spartan employees’ break room, and in the storage area. When you visit those restrooms, you feel like you’ve entered that warehouse where the fight happens at the end of the “Beat It” video.”
“I usually have absolutely no problem when I shop here. The employees are very nice & helpful. The store is clean & I usually have no trouble finding what I need. However, on my latest visit the store was relatively busy.. there was one lady on the registers doing everything she could to keep up. I’ve worked in retail for over a decade & I know exactly how it feels to have a line. But this woman had a smile on her face & was doing everything she should have been doing to keep”

“Dollar general seems less impacted by the hording caused by the pandemic than many other stores. They were the last place to have toilet paper and the staff were very nice.”
“Everything was great today. We're from Johnstown, and sometimes we stop on the way to Prince Gallitzin. We got 6 legs, macaroni salad, mermaid salad, and strawberry cheesecake delight. It was all good.”
“Love the deals on bulk food but keep in mind the prices are low because it is going to go out soon. On produce I usually bring it home and cut it up and freeze it. Great ready to eat food like subs-2 different sizes, pasta and antipasti salads, broccoli salads, and homemade haluski!!!”
“The Giant Eagle here in NC is amazing , the pharmacy is Top Notch, and I love the Managers are always around helping with the front-line stuff. ♥️It shows genuine care for the customers' experience and its presentations. ?The entire pharmacy staff is so personable and warm, and considering how busy they are its AMAZING how they stay sweet as pie, ALWAYS!

“Food is top notch, Sheetz doesn't come close. Also very friendly, and not in the "I'm working so I have to be polite", kinda way, but genuine. Same people have been working there for years too, and low turnover is a good way to judge employee treatment. In that way, getgo and sheetz both take good care of there people.”
“Clean store as it is new. Hopefully it stays that way for awhile. It is difficult to see getting out on the road way as the weeds and big bush is blocking the view.”

“When Rite Aid closed all my information was automatically changed over to Giant Eagle's pharmacy, it was an easy simple transition. Medicine gets refilled on time and actually faster than Rite aid used to be which is a huge plus! so far I haven't had a problem with anything. They're doing some construction at the moment making the pharmacy area bigger from what it looks like.”

“They carry just about anything in there convien5 store from bleach to sunglasses to cbd products. They also offer lottery,food,and gas. The manager is rude but rest staff are friendly”
“Store is conveniently located in town. Friendly staff to assist. Store often has lots of containers needing to be put up on shelves or empty cardboard boxes blocking the isles that are narrow and difficult to maneuver in. Items sell out fast and may take time to get back in stock.”
“They are currently remodeling this Walmart, but it's not too much of an imposition they're doing it quite well relative to the customer experience. It does look like it's going to be pretty nice when it's done.”
“Giant eagle in Ebensburg has taking on tons of customers from several rite aide and do the best they can to handle the influx and are polite and do the best they can do with the staff they had before hand also they are in process of enlarging the pharmacy and hiring more staff to handle the overwhelming customers they inherited so cut them some slack till they get their pharmacy up to par.”
