“Excellent place for anyone who loves authentic pasta and quality Italian ingredients. They have a great selection of fresh pasta, specialty cheeses, sauces, and many other products that are hard to find elsewhere. There are also plenty of options for vegetarians.
Armano, the owner, was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. He took the time to talk with us and made the visit a very pleasant experience.
If you're looking for authentic pasta, cheeses, and ingredients to make great meals at home, I highly recommend stopping by.”
“I love this farm and my family enjoys shopping at the market. Such great variety that you normally don't find at a CSA. I belonged to another CSA for 20 years and I'm so glad I switched to Kneehigh Farm!”
“I had the best experience here. Everyone is pleasant and accommodating.
I brought a ton of beef ribs for a cookout. The meat was fresh and they seasoned them for me at no extra cost.
Suffice it to say they turned out wonderful and were delicious he “talk” of the cookout!”
“This is one of my happy places in the area. Grocery prices are comparable to Wegmans and Giant but it's all mostly organic and always fresh. And then herbal remedies and natural skincare have the best prices in town. I also buy ingredients for my homemade skincare products there. Also, I love that it's a PA-based family owned business.”
“Wonderful family owned quaint, small Chinese market! They're my weekly go to. They have almost everything you need for Asian cooking. I love their selection of fresh vegetables Thurs-Sun. Other days you can still get the veg, but in the fridge section. It's a very clean market with good prices. I go there so much, I became friends with the owners! I love Helen . She always helps me find things I can't find or makes recommendations. Try this place out for your essentials and basics. I know you'll love it as much as I do!”
“I regularly stop here for meat. The cuts are really nice and fairly priced. Their deli staff is really nice too. I swear this is the only place in the area that has some Italian cuts like pancetta that you'd need for some dishes. Their deli is just so much better than going to a regular grocery store. Their desserts and premade food are always solid picks too. My favorite is their Creme Brulee Cheesecake or the Carrot Rolls they have sometimes. Sometimes they have really good red tag deals, and it's also like the only retailer around here that sells Hershey ice cream.”
“Great prices and selection. Very helpful and pleasant to interact with. Also very transparent about future price increases. Shop here, best Indian grocer I've been to.”
“My family loves Aldi. I get most of my produce and spices here. We love the Organic Tomato canned soup. It's the best soup. I hope they bring that soup back again soon.”
“I am a very passionate Trader Joe’s shopper. I love their products but I also love their store experience. The Exton location is no different. I’ve been to a couple different local stores and this one is by far my favorite. The employees are so kind and go out their way to help you with any questions you have. Everything is always so well stocked and the store is bright and very clean. They also have one of the best parking lots of any TJ’s I have been to. It’s always such a joy to see Lynda and Caleb at the store. They are two of my favs. They are both so pleasant and kind. Keep up the amazing work, Exton Trader Joe’s! Thank you for the consistent awesome experience!”
“Great people. Great variety. Fresh local products.
I’ve edited my review to add a few thoughts.
First, KWF does not make all of their soups anymore. I think they now only make 4 - turkey chili, maybe lentil, chicken rice, and the fourth one is slipping my mind.
They buy heat and serve soups. The soups are good but they are not gluten free so there’s fewer choices. I often stopped at the store on my way home for a cup of soup. I don’t do that anymore.
Another reason I use to stop on the way home was for the KWF baked goods. I loved that they offered gluten free items made with real butter and eggs. That’s hard to find.
I also miss the wonderful selection of bulk herbs and spices they once had. I could refill almost every jar in my spice rack from buying bulk at the store. They replaced the space the herbs were in with assorted loose teas.
Lastly I miss the cafe having seating and food you could get made to order. I miss meeting old friends there by accident.
I know that stores figure out what items yield the most money on the shelf, but, looking at how much $$ an item on a shelf yields does not give the whole story.
An item may have brought people like me in for soup, a scone, or to fill their spice jars and then once they’re there they picked up other things.
The cafe brought friends in to meet before or after they shopped. It was a lovely place to meet. It gave the store a whole different vibe. I guess I’m feeling nostalgic today.
I love this store and always will, and, for the most part most of the change I’ve seen over the years has been positive, but, the things I mentioned above were what brought me in regularly and were what made me drive out of my way to stop on the way home.
I can now get almost everything else I use from local stores but NOT the fantastic soups, baked goods, cafe offerings, and the bulk herbs and spices. Those things are what gave me a reason to stop.”
“I have a great experience at this Aldi. I just moved here in the area a few years ago and things in my budget. A very tight the store is very clean the people work there are very kind and friendly. They make you feel welcome. It’s a great store to be in a visit very often, so thank you very much for having the store my neighborhood will appreciate it a friendly shopper.”

“Everything is fresh, the store is relatively clean, and parking is abundant, but prices are a little too high for those not living in the center of Phoenixville.”
“This store has a decent variety of essentials. I will admit I still go to Giant and shoprite to get name brands. You will save money on essential items and you will appreciate how fast you get in and out.”

“Aldi has become one of my go-to grocery stores, especially as someone who values convenience, affordability, and solid vegetarian options. Their vegetarian selection is surprisingly good for a smaller-format store, with plenty of plant-based basics and rotating specialty items that make it easy to put together quick, meat-free meals. I especially appreciate how reliable Aldi is for pantry staples—things like grains, canned goods, spices, and baking essentials are consistently well-priced and good quality.
One of the biggest advantages of shopping at Aldi is how fast the experience is. The checkout process is incredibly efficient, making it easy to get in and out without wasting time in long lines. The store itself is always clean and well-organized, which makes shopping feel calm rather than chaotic. There’s also plenty of parking, which is a small but important detail that makes the whole trip more pleasant.
Product-wise, there are a few standouts I come back for again and again. The aged cheddar cheese is excellent—flavorful, sharp, and a great value compared to other grocery stores. Their soy milk is another staple I regularly stock up on. I also love that avocados are usually affordable and good quality, which isn’t always easy to find elsewhere.
Overall, Aldi strikes a great balance between price, quality, and efficiency, making it an easy choice for everyday grocery shopping.”
“Redner's has the absolute nicest employees, and I love that they're a local employee-owned chain. Locally sourced products are sold at a good price and are very fresh. I'm a big fan of Clover Farms dairy products and the chicken leg quarters sold here.
This isn't the place to get everything. They only carry certain cuts of meat, imported fruit is expensive and spoiling, and most items in the aisles are priced high (though sometimes they run great sales). This is where you go to get local food you need on a daily basis, at good quality and prices.”
“I do most of my family’s shopping at giant and absolutely LOVE their points for gas rewards. The prices here are fair for the area but then I’ll get anywhere from $.50-$1.50 off PER GALLON of gas depending on how many rewards I’ve racked up. That is such a huge bonus given the prices of gas! There’s usually no big lines waiting for a pump and someone in the booth to help if necessary.”
“I recently found about this store chain and it's really amazing the kind of discounted prices and quality product it has in its offering i.e.Indian Samosa in food section, value buys in Hiking section ..it just awesome, their Arctic drinks. Not the least they have smaller Shopping carts for Kids shopper, thoughtful....totally loved it.”
“This store is so clean and well-maintained. My partner and I stopped by yesterday and we were helped by Jim (at the register for alcoholic beverages) and he was so friendly and nice to talk to.”
“I had a tamale with green sauce and it was the best tamale I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious and I’ll be stopping by again on the weekends for them! Lots of great ingredients in the store, candies, and even gifts. So glad I stopped by!”
“Home away from home! I just moved here from San Diego and was so excited to find this spot! Every time I went to another store, they were out of serrano peppers, and I couldn't find Tajin anywhere. Nuevo Mexico had both!”
“This pharmacy staff are the best in the area! Always helpful and willing to answer any questions you have. They will even help find stuff in the store! Beyond grateful for the pharmacists and staff!”
“I was looking for cacao powder which the Downingtown location was out of. They had it, and since it was my first time there, I got a free bag of goodies. A lovely young black girl who was stocking shelves helpful me out. Kudos to her.”

“This place is a beautiful and a real shopping experience. It's just fun to go here and it's our destination or choice when we're planning any exotic meals that require the unique ingredients. It takes some time to find things as it is quite large but they have an app for that.”
“Love this place! Even though I don’t live in Phoenixville, I’ll gladly make the 20-minute drive. Found my beloved paleta de nueces here along with fresh baked goods and great imports. Well priced, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and parking was a breeze. Thank you!”
“I was talking with technician she is super nice and patient help with my prescription issue, compare to my previous pharmacy this location is heaven. I am taking all my future meds here.”
“I visit here at least once a month, sometimes twice a month especially when my other half is desiring dosa and idly chili powder every day. All the workers I’ve encountered have been nothing but welcoming. As someone who usually gathers many, many stares when visiting an Indian grocery store, I’m pretty happy that I can run in and out of this store with no fuss. I am often asked if I need help finding anything, which is very warming to be acknowledged (even if I know where I’m darting to). I really appreciate having good experiences here especially because this is the closest, most stocked Indian grocery store to where I live- and I really like cooking Indian cuisines for my guy.”
“The staff has always been helpful, courteous, and professional. If, for some reason, the doctor ordered something that was not in stock, the pharmacist would order it. Best of all, they get to know the people coming in for service.”
“The products are slightly more expensive compared to other supermarkets, but they are of excellent quality.
Vegetables and bakery are really fresh though”
“I hope this review finds this store’s manager and their main office. First off being autistic I don’t like to shop in too many loud places and I’m picky about where I shop. Sadly because sometimes other places treat autistic people as though we’re incompetent. This location is in my opinion the absolute best and I come here purposely because the staff is always so patient, helpful, and kind here. Secondly I want to personally thank Gabi and Josue (I hope I spelt your names right). I was checking out and Gabi helped first helped me with the new Lidl app and secondly my food stamp card and my Visa card weren’t working. I told them the wrong numbers which made the whole transaction a mess and I felt guilty as my mistake caused their register to not go through. Gabi and Josue were so kind and professional as I felt so bad I held up their time and the line that I was shaking and about to cry. I had to call my mom to verify the balance on her benefits card, and I felt awful because I was holding up the line.
Sadly I had to put a couple of things back and I had forgotten my capital one card and my current one only had 65.00 on it. Gabi and Josue picked up my things (I helped) and we re-rung everything besides the items I didn’t have enough for and the transaction went through. I am so grateful for their patience, their understanding and professionalism. Josue for his management skills and Gabi for her kind words of “I hope your day gets easier”. As an autistic woman I WISHED MORE stores would follow this example because sometimes like me you may accidentally give the wrong dollar amount and also forget your card at home.
Thank you Josue and Gabi and the staff at the Exton Lidl location. I promise next time I won’t forget my card and I’ll definitely be back for the items I put back and use the right card.
Thank you Gabi and Josue for your help and handling my situation with care.
Please keep doing what you are doing and thank you for your professionalism.💜”
