“I had my truck at Dave’s Transmission and Auto Repair a few weeks ago for issues with the rear differential. Dave was extremely communicative throughout the entire process. He even took the time to test drive the truck with me so he could hear exactly what I was hearing and fully understand the issue.

Once he diagnosed the problem, he invited me to come down to the shop so he could show me exactly what was going on. I took him up on it, and he brought me straight back into the shop with all of the parts laid out on the workbench. I had mentioned that I wanted to understand what had happened, and Dave said, “You said you wanted to learn, so we’re going to get you dirty.” He handed me the gears and had me grind them together so I could actually feel the clicking and then showed me exactly where the parts were wearing. I’ve never had a mechanic take the time to do something like that.

The entire experience was incredibly straightforward and transparent. There was no sales pitch or wondering if I was being told I needed something I didn’t. Dave made sure I understood what failed, why it failed, and what needed to be repaired.

It’s hard to find a shop you feel you can genuinely trust, and Dave absolutely earned my trust. I’ll definitely be bringing my vehicles here in the future. Highly recommend.”

They are really amazing I never met such a honest up front guy. Not to mention such a honest fellow mechanic. “My family has been coming here for over a decade & have had nothing but exceptional service. I had my hood & rear bumper worked on this time around. The rear bumper from getting backed into (before & after shown) & the hood from a fender bender (no before picture - it looks & functions good as new now though). The hood was previously bent in near the front grill & had issues latching & the back speaks for itself.

Replaced the brake cylinders, rear drums and pads for a very fair price, definitely cheaper than big name garages! Good honest work at a fair price, highly recommend this shop to anyone in the area! “Driving home from work i heard a strange sound and when i got home i found a giant hunk of metal in my tire. I called pep boys and Suzanne told me that if i got there by 730 they could change my tire but they close at 8. Both Suzanne and Jacob the technician were professional, friendly, and really helped me out when i was in a tight spot. Highly recommend.
