“I could write a dissertation here but basically, compared to BB's, this place is slightly more expensive with more prepared/packaged/frozen food and less fresh vegetables and fruit. The HBA section is NOTHING compared. It may as well not exist. BUT, nothing is past date and it is a very very clean, huge store. That bulk aisle is ?. I like both, but prefer BB's for the surprises. It's more of a treasure hunt where this place is like Ol' Faithful. If you had kids who ate a lot of sandwiches and a lot of juice boxes, cereal and granola bars, this is the place to go! Bbs is more weird stuff, stuff from like European grocery stores. I like weird better. Lol.”
“Aldi offers excellent discount supermarket prices. Earlier today, I purchased a Nutribullet to make smoothies. Aldi has a nice variety of frozen fruit affordably priced. I also like Aldi Italian sparkling water. Finally, one gallon of spring water is only $1.35.
There is a cashier, but the self-checkout makes checking out and bagging the items you purchased easy.”
“This location is much cleaner and more organized than the Wayne location. I also believe they have a wider selection of items. If you’re new to Trader Joe’s, I recommend browsing their website beforehand to familiarize yourself with their unique offerings. They have so many distinctive products!
The frozen food section offers great value and quality. For example, I got a box of double chocolate croissants (4 pieces) for $5.49. The Jumeokbap, a Korean-style rice ball, was only $4.99, and it was delicious! While the produce section is somewhat limited, they do have unique items like Murasaki sweet potatoes. I purchased a 9.8 oz package of jumbo blueberries for $4.99 and one Granny Smith apple for 69 cents.
One downside is that the cash registers don’t have checkout conveyor belts, so the cashier has to go through your cart and pack items for you. I find this system to be less efficient.”

Never a bad experience with this store. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are so reasonable and the product is always delivered timely and just as requested.

“One of my fav’s to shop at. BUT the deli’s employees like to hide in the back - don’t want to wait on customers. Last time I was there, the line and people waiting to be helped was about 100 of us. I called the front desk. The nice lady was back there in no time and got on their asses. Thank you for that.”
“It’s a grocery store not much to say about this one but I always have to go to giant after because aldi has so little things, if you need you basic kitchen food and don’t what to pay a lot go to aldi. The staff are nice”
“I wish the owners were fun the way they used to be. Fun newsletters, wine and cheese with customers, always seeing Julia and Dusty, pictures she took of what she made with her food and she was a beautiful writer. On weekends they used to come out on the floor and see us. They don't do that anymore. They are behind the scenes now and have been for years. Maybe over the long term something like that isn't even practical. Afterall no other business is doing that. I just miss them and how they were with customers. There is nothing wrong with that store. I just remember how it was in the beginning and its depressing that they went away. But the store? it is a biblical gift to society. Maybe they just decided there is only so much time in one day and had to cut somethings out. Its okay. People are enjoying the store.”
“This is the nearest African store I've seen so far. Not b the only near one, but by far the neatest. You can full, half or quarter boxes of tilapia, turkey wings etc. Palm oil, egusi, suya sauce, Milo, .. It's a long list. Fair prices too. The pictures are up to date and true

“This is a small grocer with primarily Korean items. There is rice, noodles, boxed sweets, frozen & refrigerated items. There are also things like Rice cookers, videos, calendars, etc. They have kimchee, and a variety of other refrigerated items, such as bulgoki (4.49 per lb.), anchovies w/ sesame seeds, squid with sesame, and spicy zucchini, etc. They do catering and can make many different items also, but didn't provide a list or costs. Dana G informed me that you can in fact get some hot items here (it'll be worth a trip back!) Prices are higher than your typical "OMG that's expensive" asian store. As far as I know this is the only actual Korean Market in HBG. Closed sunday & monday & accept cash, debit and credit cards.”

“I would like to reach out to Zack and Jason for going the extra mile to get me the best price for my prescription today. With the 4 scripts that I pay out of pocket, I try to hold down the cost as much as I can. By doing that I can stay out of the catastrophic stage with taking Eliquis along with the rest. I greatly appreciate the pharmacy staff for doing what they can do to help the struggling in this trying time. I will be a loyal customer to that pharmacy in particular. Thank You so much!”

Highly recommend the empandas and rice & beans with the chicken juice added, but everything they serve is tasty. Try their cheesesteak or burger. The owners are super friendly too. The 4th Street corner store has been a Steelton staple for generations”

“I’m the Union Deposit area today o needed a few groceries. And I saw the store I have never been in . So I was pleasantly surprised to find out this is a very affordable and very clean Hispanic community oriented business. I know this because only Spanish was being spoken over the intercom . And the majority of the food items to be found are geared towards the Hispanic people. So I decided to do a review. Parking is very easy . Although finding the entrance is a bit tricky. I just followed someone. It’s around a corner to the right side . The store was very well laid out . Great lighting . And easy to understand isles . The produce looked great. And easy navigation thrue out the store. I highly recommend the establishment.”
“Excellent mom and pop store. My husband and I grew up in Harrisburg and Joe, the owner had a store there. We grew up knowing him so was a real treat when we moved to Highspire and seen he owned this store. Best potpie ever and his sirloin (Delmonico's) are the best steaks I've ever bought from any store (big stores). I highly recommend it ?”
