“For many years, I have done my grocery shopping at the Giant on Centerville Road. However, over the past year, we have noticed that the cashiers act annoyd, do not seem to be there to assist or perhaps lack customer service training. We decided to try this particular Giant store, and to our pleasant surprise, every employee was friendly. When we went to pay for our items, they did not act as if we were an inconvenience; instead, they were helpful and cheerful. They made eye contact, engaged in conversations, and were always willing to assist. Even my recent online shopping experience was excellent. They were out of a specific item I had purchased, and they went the extra mile to call me and inquire if I would like a substitution for the particular flavor I had initially chosen. Brooke, Matt, and Brianna did an excellent job.

I am truly grateful to have now discovered my new supermarket. Thank you all for making me and my family feel so welcome in your store.”

“Lovely, kind and wonderful staff. I once ran out of a much-needed sleep medication on a Sunday and was about to leave on trip. I called and left a message and an incredible staff member rushed in during their day off AND when the pharmacy was closed to refill my prescription for me. Can't recommend them enough!”

“I made a quick stop to pick up a few groceries. And it was actually quick. I had 3 items, so I chose to do self check out. I made sure that the watermelon had a bar code before choosing the self checkout. HOWEVER, i still had to wait for assistance. I'm not sure why, but I did. The checkout person eventually came and did her thing without a single word, just like a machine. I miss the days of personal service. Now, if we're are to check out our own goods - then we shouldn't have to wait on an employee. Let's get this system of self-service working.”

I didn't get all high and mighty and complain. I understand how they can be overwhelmed. Just sit down or do some shopping while they fill the prescription.”
