What sets this one apart from some of the other stores in the area is that it has great service and always seems to have what I need. If you need some of the essentials this is a good stop.”

    “I normally stop at the Dollar general on the other side of town but I was walking around the park and decided to stop here just to get two items that I needed. This Dollar general seems to have a slightly different setup than most however it's very easy to navigate, and was very clean. Not only that the store seem to be well stocked and organized. The staff here is also very friendly and they seem to know the locals very well as they greeted two different customers by name which is a great touch.”

    “I've been shopping at this place longer than I can remember. I have to say this grocery store has really changed with the times, when I was a kid it used to just have all the basics, had a lot of different choices of basics but it was really just the basics. Now you can go here and get a lot of stuff that the more modern grocery stores carry. Not only that, the service here is always great and of course it has a very local vibe since the cashiers know most the customers in this small town. The bakery and meat market is great as well. Yes it is an old store and yes it is a little rundown but there's still lots of heart in character here and the produce section everything's always so fresh. This place is a no-brainer if you need to do your grocery shopping.”

Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
