“Sue's Market has some really good meat. Her meat counter, featuring a LOT of local meats, is worth your while, and your money. Their butchers know meat, and Sue, the owner, is always there, making sure their products are top notch.
I know Sue, and have had her custom order me hams, ribs, loins. I buy her meats.
Now, my insider tip: Her ground beef is the absolute best. You are able to see the meat prep area when you there. When they grind hamburger, they put chunks of beef into the grinder, and double grind the meat. NO ADDED WATER, NO CHUNKS OF FAT, NO FILLERS.
The ground beef almost looks unreal - a bright red color. It's because it's real meat. No BS. Thanks, Sue. Thank your crew.”
“I've always loved Leg Up Farmers Market for their fresh foods and "Whole Foods feel". The fresh honey keeps me coming back. The store is a little pricey, but there are so many other grocery stores in York you can choose from then if you can't afford it. I like Leg Up because it has a lot of different items that Walmart, Giant, and Weis doesn't have. I just wish the smoothie bar had longer hours. Everytime I come its closed.”

Homemade beans with great bold flavor. Jarritos soda in every flavor. Chicken quesadilla top notch. My favorite is the birria tacos, but everything is good. Hot sauce comes in syrup pouring containers, which I think is clever. If you want genuine Mexican food, go here.”

“About the freshest produce and meat you will find. Saubel’s owns four stores around Southeastern PA and Northern MD. Every store is clean and well up kept. I don’t know how they do it, when other stores are out of stock of items…somehow Saubel’s always has what I need.”

“Giant in the Delco Plaza consistently never lets me down. The meats and produce are fresh and delicious. They support local farmers by selling their produce during the season. They always run excellent sales on items people actually use. The store is well organized and always clean. The staff is helpful and friendly.”

“They had Kreider’s milk. My favorite! Yum! I loved the signs that said what the price is there versus other establishments. Only concern would be the location of certain items. I wanted to find granola bars, but they had been placed on an end cap at the other end of the store instead of their place. Also there weren’t many carts left. Employees were lovely.”

“We were at the Giant in York Pa. Nice parking lot and the store was very clean. We used the self checkout and that was a hassle. We had difficulty entering our Giant card number and then it made us rescan a bunch of things. The young man who was at the self check out was more interested in eating his chips than helping.”
“Great store close to home. If I can't find it here I go right next door to Weis and get it. Today, my mom was looking for ant traps. A employee looked through her stock cart for some. Unfortunately, there were none. But she deserves a shout out for great customer service! Rock on rocker girl! ??Super friendly store personnel and you find some great deals too. I took a star because the automatic checkout only works with new crisp bills. ?”
“I orderer a cake from the bakery with only 24 hours notice and they made it happen for me. Normally they require 48 hours notice just like most bakery's. We did a Hello Kitty theme and it turned out amazing! Everything was great across the board. Customer service, freshness, quality. Walking through the store I noticed how in every department the food on display looked extra fresh, including the seafood and meat departments.”
“I was in the other day and the cashier was an older lady who didn’t value customer satisfaction. She wouldn’t give me a sticker because I was 21 cents short of $10.00. I was so angry at her pettiness and lack of customer service.
