Homemade beans with great bold flavor. Jarritos soda in every flavor. Chicken quesadilla top notch. My favorite is the birria tacos, but everything is good. Hot sauce comes in syrup pouring containers, which I think is clever. If you want genuine Mexican food, go here.”
“I was looking for Reeds lemon lime ginger seltzer, they had in Philadelphia but not York. Which is common. They have decent deals on interesting items, but some things are still cheaper at Giant or Walmart”

“Once again store was picked over; many items out of stock. The prices starting to climb, also noticed my wife's favorite beer battered fish has fallen to shrink flatiron, now only 13oz pkg. 4 stars because of good quality.”

“The food is excellent. We travel over thirty minutes to pick up the best food, we have went around lunch time and dinner time. No matter what time you go, the food is fresh and delicious. “I wanted to take a moment to recognize one of your employees who provided exceptional service during my recent visit.
On 4/21/26, at your Giant, Pauline Dr. location, I was assisted by Carter. He went above and beyond by getting the gallon of milk I needed. The freezers to the milk were taped shut because of the painting that was being done and when I asked him if it was possible for me to get a gallon of milk, he didn’t hesitate. He stopped what he was doing and he went straight to the back and got me that gallon of milk and with a smile. I had just gotten out of orientation for a second job and I was tired and this really made my night. Companies (grocery store, retail stores) need more Carters.
I hope this feedback can be shared with him and his manager—he truly made a difference.
Thank you for maintaining such high standards. Keep up the great work Carter, you’re going to do great things.”
“I orderer a cake from the bakery with only 24 hours notice and they made it happen for me. Normally they require 48 hours notice just like most bakery's. We did a Hello Kitty theme and it turned out amazing! Everything was great across the board. Customer service, freshness, quality. Walking through the store I noticed how in every department the food on display looked extra fresh, including the seafood and meat departments.”
“I was in the other day and the cashier was an older lady who didn’t value customer satisfaction. She wouldn’t give me a sticker because I was 21 cents short of $10.00. I was so angry at her pettiness and lack of customer service.
Today I went in and Virginia more than made up for it. She was friendly, kind and helpful. I appreciate that she made my experience good.”

“I've always loved Leg Up Farmers Market for their fresh foods and "Whole Foods feel". The fresh honey keeps me coming back. The store is a little pricey, but there are so many other grocery stores in York you can choose from then if you can't afford it. I like Leg Up because it has a lot of different items that Walmart, Giant, and Weis doesn't have. I just wish the smoothie bar had longer hours. Everytime I come its closed.”
