“Mavis is better than any chain quick lube place! I've had some really bad experiences since my local oil change place got replaced with a jiffy lube, so I finally tried Mavis. They were welcoming and helpful, even getting me in before my online-made appointment time. They even changed my blinker light free of charge because I brought my own bulb. There's good coupons on their website too!!”

Came across Universal auto repair and they great reviews, so I decided to make an appointment. Explained exactly what I was experiencing when driving. At first glance they couldn’t pin point the issue but with a bit more info from me they figured it out. Also had inspections/emission and daylight replaced. Will be taking my vehicle to them going forward. If looking for a trustworthy and friendly shop this is the one. Highly recommend ?”

“Hands down, one of the most reliable places you could ever choose to go to. Mechanics are trustworthy and very personable. My father and I have used them a few times for tires for our customers cars and for our personal vehicles. Most recently brought my girlfriends car in for tires & alignment, their level of service and attention to detail is unmatched. Prices were very fair for the quality of work that is provided. “Took my car into Auto Doctor because I had a bad valve stem. Ron and his team checked it out and replaced in - meanwhile they let me know my headlight was out and asked if I’d like that replaced as well!
They got me in and out in about an hour - when I called like 30 mins before. The pricing can’t be beat! Ron and his team are professional and knowledgeable.
I’ll definitely be returning to Auto Doctor for any car needs I have in the future.”

SUPER Fast, friendly service. Great prices. They mounted and balanced 4 tires for me and I couldn’t be happier. In and out in a flash, sat outside and enjoyed the breeze and warm weather!
I’m not from the area, I just work in Philly everyday, and I know as an outsider, the vast majority of these tires places can look shady and feel intimidating. Hunting Park Tire Shop is not one of them. They are totally legitimate and one of the best you’ll find. Stop searching and come see them!

“My battery warning light came on and was told at Autozone that my battery was good but most likely needed a new alternator. I called Jim’s and were able fit me in right away. I came first thing just before our winter vacation for them to look at it. Jim’s figured out that the connectors were loose. It was a Christmas miracle! To my surprise, within under an hour of THEIR time, they fastened it and told me that I did not even have to pay. Jim’s service and kindness, especially around this holiday season made my day. This is the kind of neighborhood shop that really gets it (unlike some of these corporate-auto-grinches minus Roxborough Autozone). I had to repay the favor by giving them a rave review. Thank you! “Great trustworthy place to get your car everything it needs my car had issues for nearly 4 months in which i put a few thousand into it and had been quoted 10k i had finally chose to switch to victors and my car was completely fixed within a day they have great communication they worked fast and were very accommodating i was working when my car got done and they were able to process my payment and finalize everything while i was working so i could come pick it up after hours i recommend to everyone and will 100% be coming back very grateful i brought my car here”

“I brought my car to Monro for an oil change. The technician working on my car called me and said that I needed four new tires. At first, I thought this was just another attempt to make more money off me. But the technician insisted that the tread was very worn. I consented to the new tires, and when I went to pick up the car, the technician showed me my old tires which were almost bald. I was so glad he recommended changing them before I left for vacation. I was very happy with the service I received today.”

My car got the help it needed: flat tire, oil change and also tire replacement. I have decided to make them my official mechanics.
