“Tonight reminded me that there are still genuinely kind people in this world.
After leaving my dad's 93rd birthday celebration, I noticed my tire pressure had dropped dramatically because of a nail in my tire. It was already after 6:20 p.m., and almost every tire shop was closed. I was honestly afraid I wasn't going to make it home safely and have to call AAA to change my tire and put on a spare.

When I pulled into Mavis Tire by Palmer Park Mall, Hunter was literally walking to his car after his shift. I asked if there was any chance they could help me. Instead of saying they were closed, Hunter turned around, went back inside, and he and DJ (David) reopened the shop, brought my car into the service bay, repaired my tire, made sure it was properly inflated, and had me safely back on the road—all after closing time.

What impressed me even more was that they refused to charge me.

In a world where it's easy to do only what's required, Hunter and DJ chose kindness. They went far above and beyond anything I could have expected, turning what started as a stressful evening into one I'll never forget for all the right reasons.
