“Georgetown Center has hosted our high school football banquet for the past several years, and each experience has been outstanding. From start to finish, the staff has been incredibly professional, friendly and accommodating. The food is always excellent and they go above and beyond to make our event special. We look forward to continuing this tradition and can’t wait to host our banquet there again this year!”

“I cannot thank Patty & the people of GV Social Hall enough for the beautiful wake we just had for my dad, Harry. The food was excellent (love those meatballs) and the staff could not have been more kind. Best of all, during a sad, stressful time, you made the whole experience easy. Many people commented on how much my Dad would have enjoyed the afternoon. Thank you!”
“My family and I went to The Manchester Room for Drag Queen Bingo, to benefit the Zombie Traveling Baseball Team. We had an absolute blast. They played great music. And, all of the performances were very entertaining. We thought the $30 admission was incredibly reasonable, since it included 6 games of bingo, a great drag queen show, our meal, dessert options and non-alcoholic beverages. And, it was a BYOB event, if you wanted to enjoy a cocktail or a beer.Sadly, all of us commented about the HUGE pillar, located right in the middle of the room. It inevitably presented a tremendous obstacle to everyone's ability to watch the show, no matter where you were seated. It's a total shame that the owner/ designer didn't spend the money on a metal support cross beam, to run the entire width of the room. It would be such a beautiful banquet room, if it had been designed without that enormous pillar in the middle of the room. Plus, removing it would leave enough space, to add another round table in the room.”
“This place is a hidden gem for any kind of party/event! I had my daughter's first birthday party here. Reasonably priced! The venue is very nice, clean, and spacious. The owners are very responsive to calls/text and willing to help out in any way possible! The room was set up exactly how we wanted it before arriving to decorate. Would highly recommend!”

“I came here for a wedding reception back in January and everything was great, parking was efficient (street parking included) in light of weather conditions and the layout is great, however I can only give this review 4 stars because the only downside about this hall is that it’s not handicap accessible (no wheelchair access / no ramp entry). But overall, highly recommended!”
“Went here for the circus with my kids. They enjoyed it the first time around but my youngest started to get restless the second time we went. Not a bad venue for the kids, food here is pricey and isn't the greatest so I recommend eating before you go.”
“This is my number one favorite bowling centers of all the LS, Bolero, and AMF centers that I have frequented. The center is super clean and the lanes are always fresh with decent amount of oil. Rachael and her team Dokata and Keelin always provide the best service with a smile and a thank you.”
“It's a nice venue with plenty of parking. The people who work there are friendly, and they run a quality operation. But there are a few things that should really be improved.
1. They could really use more bathrooms for the amount of people that they host.
2. The audio volume starts out at the high end of a reasonable level, but as they start the show, they raise it up to too loud. I had to improvise ear plugs out of napkins, and I saw others around me plugging their ears as well.
3. Most of the seating is at tables, and these are a bit cramped. Towards the end of the show, I really felt like I needed to stretch my legs, but there was no space. The chairs themselves are also not very comfortable. They are straight back chairs with very thin seat cushions. And they are arranged at 90 degree angles from the stage, so guests have to turn their heads uncomfortably to look at the performance.
These may seem like small things, but they make a big difference. I hope the owners read these reviews and consider the constructive critique.”
“I decorated a baby shower here and this place was a little challenging trying to make this room look neutral with all of the red I had to cover. I would gladly help the owner remodel this space FOR FREE because it is pretty outdated and it has a stench of a basement odor when you first walk in. All it needs is to change out all of the red. The curtains that he has permanently on the walls are outdated. The dance floor can be bigger. The mirrors....why? The lighting was outdated and boy did I try my best to cover up the fake fruit vines along the sides of cake table as well as the 30ft curtain that can not move anywhere. “Bowled for the first time at Princess Lanes and enjoyed it thoroughly. Lanes were in excellent condition, clean and reliable. I bowled nine games over two pair of lanes, one pair was AMF, the other Brunswick. Scorekeepers worked well and when we needed a pin spotted, the pinboy was right there to fix it. Snack bar was very good, with a nice selection of food at reasonable prices. Stopped in the bar for a couple of cold drafts. Fast service and good prices. All in all, a fine way to spend a Saturday.”

“2016 The staff was accommodating, kind professional and fun! The venue is gorgeous! Think ahead about what you're going to do with your fresh flower centerpieces. We didn't think about it and it wasn't suggested. We used their vases ( very pretty) so at the end of the night, the gorgeous flowers went in the trash instead of others getting to enjoy them (old age home or the like). That was my only negative to the experience having an event there.”
