“My husband was shopping at a big box store and none of the dress shirts fitted at all due to his large neck. The cashier actually recommended we stop by DXL Big & Tall. It was easy to locate on busy Peach Street; we found a parking spot easily but it is a very busy location. We were immediately greeted by Jody, who was extremely helpful. My husband found exactly what he needed. Prices are a bit higher but that is expected for a specialty store. Quality of the shirts are very good. Most definitely will stop again when needed and will recommend to anyone that needs this kind of store.”

“I dont usually leave reviews but when i do its because of something really good so today is one of those days i wanted to so I went to the store and I spoke to a nice lady there she was very friendly and I wanted to buy a shirt and tie I never got her name but she has an accent and she looks like shes in her 20s anyways she helped me out with my purchase and keep in mind before I stopped there I didnt have good day at all but when stopped there i was so happy that i did that she's the gem in that store and she's very respectful and very helpful the only 2 places I can c her working in is customer service or hospital because she's that caring of person lol ill go even further then that by saying i never been treated that good by any customer service personal accept for my barber because i give him a tip thats it 😂 like to c that its kind of top the line help is rare to me seriously i felt like she made it her mission to make sure that I got what I wanted best customer service ever 👏💯”

“Had just a few minutes to waste before my doctors appointment this afternoon so I visited this store for the first time today. I was immediately impressed with the courteous kind reception from the owner as soon as I walked in. Although I didn't have much time to scope the whole store out, I did get a chance to notice the ergonomics of the store. All the clothing was well placed and organized in a manner that made it easy for me to view/use much better than some of the big box stores. I can tell a great deal of effort was put into the display arrangements.Although some of the clothing was geared more towards the younger customers, I did find a good amount of designer clothing that appealed to me as an older adult and model.I would definitely recommend this store to others and I am definitely going to be shopping here in the future. “Love express! So glad it became a factory outlet and the prices are great nowadays. I’m in my mid 30s so it’s more my style nowadays. A lot of stuff I’m not crazy over but this store the staff is always super nice and personable. Allison was really cool and helped me out by signing up for their txt promo and gave me $10 off in store when it wasn’t working online. Really appreciative of that and her kindness.”

“I recently visited Macy’s in Erie and overall had a very positive experience. The store is spacious, well-organized, and carries a strong variety of brands across clothing, shoes, fragrances, and home goods. If you’re looking for a department store that gives you solid selection without having to drive to a major city, this location definitely delivers.

The men’s section, in particular, was impressive. There was a good mix of casual and business attire, and I appreciated that sizes were fairly well stocked. I was able to find quality pieces without feeling like I had to dig through disorganized racks. The layout made it easy to browse without feeling overwhelmed.

The fragrance and cosmetics area was also a highlight. It felt clean and well-maintained, and the displays were neat. Staff in that section were approachable without being pushy, which I personally prefer. They were willing to answer questions and give recommendations but didn’t hover.

Customer service overall was good. Most associates I interacted with were polite and helpful. One staff member went out of their way to check inventory for a size that wasn’t on the rack, which I appreciated. Checkout was relatively smooth, although the line took a bit longer than expected during peak hours. That’s probably the main reason I’m giving four stars instead of five.

Pricing was fair, especially if you catch a promotion or use coupons. Macy’s is one of those places where it pays to shop strategically. There were some solid clearance deals, and the quality generally matches the price point.

The store itself was clean, but a few areas felt slightly dated compared to newer mall department stores. It’s not a major issue, just something noticeable in certain sections. A small refresh in decor or lighting in some departments would elevate the experience.

Overall, Macy’s in Erie is a reliable stop if you’re shopping at the mall and want variety under one roof. Good selection, helpful staff, and decent value — just a few minor areas that could be improved to make it a full five-star experience. I’d definitely shop there again.”

“Would be a 5 star except everytime I go to checkout there's only 1 cashier with a line that builds up when there's several other employees around the store. Ive waited 20 minutes with 2 people in front of me before. That's my only complaint”
