“I cannot thank the incredible team at Erie Animal Hospital enough for their compassion and quick action today. We found four helpless kittens on a busy street and brought them straight inside for the night. We called this morning hoping they could quickly scan the kittens for microchips to see if they belonged to anyone. From the absolute second we walked through the door, the front desk staff stepped up. They took care of us immediately and scanned each kitten Even though we weren't regular clients and it was just a quick microchip check, they treated us with the utmost kindness and showed true dedication to animal welfare. If you want a veterinary team that genuinely cares about animals and the community, this is the place. Thank you all so much for helping us keep these sweet kittens safe!”

“The front desk staff are very friendly. I felt like some of the vets were more interested in finding ways to make money from a scared and worried pet parent then actually helping. I brought a kitten in and we discussed a potential allergy. I wanted to wait and see. I called back 3 days later to request the same meds that had been prescribed to her sister. I was told that I would need to schedule (and pay full price for) a new appointment. I asked why and was told I would need to bring the kitten back in case anything had changed in 3 days. When I asked more questions, she was prescribed an OTC allergy medicine because that could be given without a prescription. Why was that not offered originally?”

“Exceptional describes the young talent behind the counter! All of the staff are wonderfully efficient, but this is about the young phenom I encountered a few days ago! Her approach in public relations reveal a person whose end game is possibly studying to be a Vet herself! Very kind , empathetic and professional! Both her and the other staff , especially the Veterinians themselves date me back to the late 70s as a very satisfied customer!”

“I took my 18 year kitty there for a second opinion. The veterinarian was very compassionate and helped me to decide to put her to sleep. They let me spend as much time as I needed both before and after. It was heart breaking, but I was glad I was there and they did it while I was holding her.”

“Since I was a teenager with my first dog Cooper that we got from Summit Pet Hospital I have been taking my dogs there. My mom still takes her dogs there. My husband and I have a German shepherd named Mateo. He hates going to the vet. He’s for lack of a better word an a hole at the vet. We have to give him calming meds and sometimes those don’t work fully. He recently got a lump on his back that Dr Sue told us was a hematoma. Mateo wasn’t pleasant during this visit. I talked with Elizabeth before leaving that day and she said when we come for the recheck she was just going to take Mateo back without us. He did amazing during his check up and we even got good news on his hematoma. I couldn’t recommend this vet and the techs more. They really care about the animals they’re seeing and their owners. You may wait a little longer than normal but it’s because they don’t want to rush through their patients. I really couldn’t ask for a better vet for my fur kids.”

“I took a homeless kitty (from my block) to Animal Kingdom Vet Hospital today. He has been living the outdoor life for nearly a year now and is suffering the effects. Two of my neighbors and I worked together to get the kitty some help. The staff and doctor at the hospital were incredibly kind and helpful to the kitty and to my neighbors and I who were trying to help the kitty. Their prices were not outrageous and that was the biggest help. In today’s world, costs are out of this world and it is hard enough keeping our own animals healthy, much less getting a stray kitty the help it needs. The staff were competent and knowledgeable and welcoming and the vet was experienced, intelligent, flexible and friendly. I have decided, I am going to switch to Animal Kingdom for my own kitties based on the care and concern and affordability I saw given today.”

“First time using their services- needed to get my two male kittens neutered. Easy to schedule, got a nice run down of how to prepare them (no food after midnight, separate carriers, drop off time ect) staff was friendly and prompt with getting us checked in. Pickup was a breeze, kitties recovered perfectly, and someone on staff even called the next day to see how they were doing. Efficient, kind, and cost-effective! Very appreciative of them in our Erie community. Thank you so much!!!”

“I had a really good experience here! I brought my two dogs, one just for a bath and nail trim and the other for a haircut, bath, and nail trim. The workers were so friendly with us and nice to the dogs, scheduling was easy, and the dogs looked great when we picked them up! Only reason for 4 stars is a felt like it was a bit pricey.”

“Sadly today, on my son’s 17th birthday, we were blind sided by a medical emergency with his BELOVED cat. After being seen and evaluated quickly we were informed the cat had an untreatable heart condition that is basically a genetic “ticking time bomb”. The staff was extremely informative about his condition and why he was untreatable. They allowed us time to say a painless and stress free goodbye. Thank you so much for your grace and understanding with how much this loss impacted my son. I can’t thank you enough for your professionalism and compassion.”
