“This is a true gem in the Gem City and was much needed BIG TIME! Incredible produce and unique products are available in the store but their ever changing menu for lunch etc is what will keep you coming back. I swear I want to try every soup they ever make and the sandwiches are so proper. Price is right. Go for the No Dirt Farms lettuce and stay to stuff your face with goodness and wash it all down with a sparkling CBD drink. Excellent service from really nice people. This is seriously the best new place to open in Erie in a long time.”

“Visited Wegmans recently while visiting the area. I have been there many times. The product availability is amazing and the store is clean and beautiful. However, their prices are quite high!”
“High quality generic items at (usually) the cheapest prices in town. Weekly ads show their sale prices. Great values with "Aldi's Finds" items and usually fantastic quality. Unfortunately they like other stores have resorted to mostly self checkouts. But, unlike some others there's work well and do not feel like they are expecting you to use the checkouts to steal from them. Friendly staff as well.”
“Stopped in for apple cider and some other goodie’s like maple donuts and chocolate chip cookies. They also have a nice choice of jellies and wines rom some local wineries.”

“You buy groceries at Giant Eagle and take your discount receipt or use your ph# and depending how much I buy there at the store, 10 cents or more, use that to take off gas per gallon. Buy all depends store total. It's Great a d Every pennies count now days. So it helps save on gas total when u do get gas at GetGO, FROM GIANT EAGLE GROCERY STORE !!! RATE STORE A 10 ?”

“I really love this Dollar General and I like all of the employees. I live so close that I walk here 2 to 3 times a day. I do wish someone would put a work order in to get the ice cooler fixed though. I need the ice and I am tired of paying full price each time for 1/4 full bags of ice. It's been over 2 weeks and it's still the same ice in the cooler and the cooler is still broken.”
“This is where I get gas a lot of times. I like it because I can always check my air pressure. I also have the windshield wiper fluid I use. The store inside good to always has things I need for my place.”

“The first time shopping here and the cashier was phenomenal. Every cashier I've ever had at this store is always angry, doesn't engage in any convos, not helpful and just very unpleasant but this cashier was very upbeat, helpful kind and respectful. She deserves to be recognized In some way. Pay raise, paid vacation days, health insurance, ect. Since COVID dollar general has the worst time having any employees, the employees they do have are very overworked, underpaid. They have to be full front end cashier, customer service, but they are expected to be all over the store unpacking the truck shipments that are so backed up, and watch for any customers ready to cash out. The better management treats their employees the better the employees will work for you.”

“Always on top of things. My prescriptions are always ready when they say it will. Get on auto-fill for some. Others that aren't allowed due to insurance regulations I always make sure I give them time to have them ready.”
“To address some of these reviews the floors look aweful due to the fact that people do not want to work so getting anything done while short staffed is impossible especially with the amount of stock that has to be done us employees at this location have not been trained on the app none of us use it so we do not know how to set it up or how it works, we hire people they work for a week get a paycheck then quit we are doing the best we can when we say we dont have time at that moment its because we truley do not have time the amount of work that has to be done between 1-2 people per shift is insurmountable we are doing our best with what little we have my job is to always keep my customers happy however thats not always possible as we as employees have rules and regulations to follow and customers are not always going to like if we cant fix something or jump to every becon call but please understand we are trying! Also this location closes at 9pm NOT 10pm the hours are posted on the door right when you walk in please refer to the posted hours as google does not know it all! And to address when the pet food was all out it was due to a ac unit flooding in the ceiling we lost everything in that aisle and had to wait for trucks to deliver more product honestly all you have to do is ask one of us why something is out what our hours are ect we will gladly keep you in the loop! All we ask is please be patient with us while we find a balance with running this store thank you!”
