And she even stayed back till we complete order & eat. She happily assisted while we shopped snacks & she gave suggestion on food, asked my kid feedback on food so that Scotty’s market owners can reform. “I was having my car towed to a shop to have it repaired and the AAA driver who was Towing my car spoke about this store I don't want to pronounce the name because I don't want to mess it up but this Market was everything that the driver said it was and what the driver said was that they had the best sandwiches well I was hungry one day and as I passed the store I decided to make a short left turn park my car and then throw off into that facility oh boy am I glad I did I got an Italian sub sandwich and I have to tell you this homemade sandwich that they put together was just awesome it was so delicious and to add a topping to that they had homemade pastries and I purchase chocolate chip cookies and their peanut butter cookies were to die for why do I say that because I'm a peanut butter cookie crazy woman I love peanut butter cookies so if you're ever in the area stop off at the family store it's a modest Market and they have beautiful fruit also it is well worth the efforts and the husband and wife couple that runs it they are so friendly so kind and attentive they definitely will see me again and probably again and again thank you”

Thanks to these people for allowing us to experience the taste and smell of home. And yes...since we skimped on a large amount, they gave us more candies and chocolate. This is a nice bonus. My family and friends came 150 miles to shop at this store. When we entered we were greeted by the amazing employees of this store. We were treated at the highest level. “You won't find another market that matches the rich history, friendliness of owners, and quality of products. The owner Dave went out of his way to give my wife and I a tour of the place and tell us the history of previous owners and stories about Mac Miller. You can really tell he takes pride in taking over the place. It has a very homey feel and we both thoroughly enjoyed our Reubens in the "backyard". There's no doubt I will revisit”
“This establishment employees are very untruthful. They lie. They pulled a special price and threw it away right before my eyes when I was ready to check out with a large order on 12.26.2024. The item was their 3 lb bacon price. I have a picture on my cell what the original price was. I am done with this company.

“If you live in Oakland Pittsburgh, you should go. A good place to get vegetables, deli, & Italian food. Food imported from Italy. Been here as long as I have, 20+ years, and with good reason.Not very big, very local. I should mention the deli, a big part of why I go.”

“Great prices and good quality food as well. The checkout process is convoluted and annoying though. They throw all the items in a cart. Even glass items and stuff like bread so they can either break or get smooshed. Also make sure to bring your own bags if you can. If not you can buy some there. Also bring a quarter for the cart.”
“Don't go there hungry... This is the type of store where you can get out of hand grocery shopping very fast... It's great. Other than the strip district downtown where you pay to park, not here. It's centrally located to the "Monroeville" area. If Italian food is your thing, GO THERE. You won't be disappointed.”

She recommended things, which definitely increased the amount of things I purchased! She had us try so many things I probably would have not even considered. The shop is also lovely and the pricing is good.”

“Convenience with a flair is the name of the game at Bryant Street Market. The coolest sandwhiches with the finest meats and toppings have to be their specialty. The store is really clean for a neighborhood deli. Top quality food items are all that is sold at the store. Parking can be a bit of a hassle because of the way the parking lot is set up. When I have turned people on to Bryant Street Market they are quite impressed with the store.”

“at Aldi I have come to expect to see cilantro for 89 cents but just recently I noticed they started carrying parsley. Two types of fresh herbs they sell throughout the year! Product variety is very small. They carry one or two brands, often store brands, of something. Produce is good, fresh, and cheap, and except for the stockers' tendency to throw everything (apples, potatoes, mangos, into to the bin) which I have seen done at ALL stores in the Pgh area. They carry a lot of frozen vegan items, as well as things like cauliflower dough pizza, tofu, etc. I like their flexibility to open up a new lane (listen and learn, Giant Eagle). Prices are sometimes 30-40% lower than the Yost Blvd Giant Eagle up the street. Their cart area is always all trashed out and someone needs to be go there everyday cleaning up the area.”
