“Best tennis shop near the Philly area. All the staff there were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The demo program is by far the best for their selection and value, the demo cost even goes towards the purchase of a new racquet. They really helped guide me through the demo process to help me pick the perfect racquet for me. There's also a large selection of racquets, shoes, and other equipment for tennis and pickleball. Even though I didn't get my racquet strung there, they have top of the line equipment for stringing and customizing racquets. You really can't go wrong coming here for your racquet sport needs!”
“Hugh was absolutely wonderful with my 92 year old mother! Absolutely so professional and respectful with her, and the 3 visits we needed to make sure the shoes she chose were fitted properly were so worth it! He was so accommodating of the difficulties she has with ambulating!Previously my mother was barely able to walk due to the pain of deep corns on the balls of her feet. Despite every 5 week visits with podiatrists, she had pain just a few weeks after her podiatry visits. Now due to the proper shoes and custom made inserts she’s not experiencing any of the pain she’d had previously! The proper shoes and custom inserts made all the difference!Thank you Hugh! “This small business fishing store is a great place to go to if you can't find what you need at other major stores like Dick's Sporting Goods. There are a lot of fishing specialty items, such as lures or special hooks, that you just can't find at other locations. The prices seemed reasonable. The staff are also all naturally fisherman and can speak to the different fishing holes you can find nearby. I got my fishing license through them and had a good chat about their personal experiences. Everyone there was very nice and you can tell it's a cool small business. The store itself is in an area next to the 7-Eleven with a small parking lot, so if you're driving by, you may miss it. Just use the 7-Eleven as your reference. I definitely will come back again for future fishing needs.”

“What a pleasant experience!I was in Chestnut Hill for a lunch meeting and decided to do some shopping especially since it was a cold day and I left home without a hat.Chestnut Hill Sports "filled the bill" since I wanted a hat for one of the local sports teams. The store is well stocked and the staff members were friendly, knowledgeable and appreciated my business. Instead of just a hat, I was able to take advantage of a sale and purchased a new pair of athletic shoes!!!!But, my bottom line is how the store felt. It was an "old time", neighborhood store. I observed other customers who were talking w/the staff about their families, school, teams and everyday Life items. What a cool "throw back" to the way things used to be. With all the "over the top" negativity we are bombarded with everyday, it was HUGELY refreshing to experience being in a business establishment that took time to recognize its customers and treat each of us with RESPECT! “I ordered uniforms on Sunday and they were available for pick up by Tuesday! Quick turn around and friendly service. They made the process so easy. Highly recommend. To add we were with another team in fall who used Ewing Sports for uniforms. I placed the order early July and received an email in January that my items were ready. This was well past the fall season. Unprofessional, do not answer calls and just awful service. Steer clear of Ewing and stick with Soccer Post!”

“Call Marla and make an appointment now! I've been working with her for years and she's great. The clothes are beautiful and plentiful. While it may seem like you're spending a lot at one time, it's worth it. I've selected key pieces that I continue to wear for years. I used to spend the same amount over time with a wardrobe that I didn't really like. Now I've collected good quality jackets, dresses, and blouses that I wear over and over, year after year. I also get my standard black pants there, which really fit right. A wonderful shopping experience.”

I manage a small soccer club, so not a huge business opportunity, but they have been so helpful and pleasant to work with over a few seasons now even with a few hiccups driven by the manufacturer. “Pleasant experiences on both visits. Friendly owner and assistant greeted us upon entering and noted they’d be with us shortly, when finished with customers ahead of us. We were able to look around the small shop easily and found ballet slippers and a leotard that fit without any difficulty. My daughter was able to try on the items before purchasing, as well. There’s a dressing room for trying on the leotard. On our first visit she was helped with trying on ballet slippers. Will return if we need more supplies!”
“My son played college hockey. Now he plays in a league at Wissahickon Skating Club. This is a very nice rink with a lot of history. They have beautiful warming room with great view of the rink. They also have a great pro shop. Really nice people.”

“Back in my city for a visit from Atlanta. Came here after doing Google search near where I was staying and found the most amazing selections for Philly Eagles' T-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies. They have an abundance of sizes, something very hard to find in any Georgia sports attire store. Gentleman there today was very welcoming and accommodating as I was in a hurry.So glad I got my gear at this store as opposed to picking something at the airport on the way home. Now when I go back to Atlanta and hang out with my favorite Eagles Bar..(shout out to Varner's Tavern and the Smyrnadelphia crew in Smyrna, GA)...I can sport my Kelly green and Reggie White "Legends Never Die" Tee! “Had my son’s bike serviced here, the back wheel was replaced for about $60 and it cost less than to replace the bike. Dropped it off at the beginning of the week, they said it would be done probably by Friday and it was done on Friday. Great service, nice staff.”
